Added a workaround for the story section where a shrine teleports you in Fort Joy, and you ultimately get the Bless spell. This event is normally limited to 4 avatar characters, at which point you no longer get teleported. Now more avatar characters can experience this story beat.

Note: The workaround will make sure a spot is open before making the teleportation work, otherwise a message will appear to inform you to wait until a player exits the Hall of Echoes.

  • Added a fix for the intro scene in the Tutorial, which was hardcoded to 4 players, and resulted in the party being unable to move or act. This fix will ensure the party doesn't remain 'frozen'.
  • Added a changelog entry to the "Info" section of the journal, if LeaderLib is active.

Potential hotfix for an issue in new games, where you load into the next level with a black screen (not sure if this was directly related to PSE, but it may have been from adding some characters to the generic origins database).

Quick tweak to alter the lobby limit via LeaderLib's global settings, if LeaderLib is active. This will let you limit the lobby to limits other than 10, but this value would need to be set in-game first.

The following changes require Norbyte's Script Extender v56. If the script extender isn't enabled, these features simply will not work. You can continue to use PSE without the script extender.

Changes
  • The multiplayer limit is now automatically increased without requiring a meta.lsx override. This is set to 10.
  • Increased the multiplayer limit in the lobby, for keyboards and controllers, to 10, allowing 5+ multiplayer in the lobby and character creation.
  • Implemented some experimental tweaks to potentially get 5+ character creation to work. This may have some side effects, so please keep in mind that this is experimental.
  • The max party size can now be set in LeaderLib's "Mod Settings" options UI.

One issue noted with 5+ character creation, is things may get a little weird if more than 4 people try to play as a generic (Custom: ) origin. There are only 4 characters set up to be generic like this, which is a hardcoded limit (the custom origins use Generic files 1-4 that the game looks for).

Try to limit custom characters to 4, and get mods with more origin characters if you intend to play with more than 8 people. (So everyone can have a separate origin preset).

  • Added a new debug option for hosts under the party size menu, allowing the removal of the max party size of 10 (warning: use at your own risk!).

Misc
  • Reworked the way new positions are created for the Lady Vengeance Romance and Arena of the One events, to hopefully work with parties way too large (10+).
