Update: Oct 20, 2024 @ 5:35pm

Version 2.1.4

Bug Fixes, Changes, and Adjustments
  • Fixed one of the Wanderer's Large Tent - Swap (LBPR) so that it correctly displays the neutral canvas texture as intended in a spot where it was still showing the original Stygian texture

  • Fixed the Bed - Stygian (LBPR) so that it works with Xevyr's Heartsone mod (the vanilla variant of this bed will still have issues, we simply fixed ours on our end).

  • Fixed LOD issues on Chair (LBPR)

  • Resized the Tavern Chair (LBPR) mesh to better fit NPC's/Characters when sitting

  • Fixed Swap icon for Bed - Swap (LBPR)

  • Updated the chairs and beds to accept Thrall use.

Note: Bed - Swap (LBPR) will work while in bunk form, but only on the bottom bed, and it's also inconsistent on how often Thralls use the bed.

  • Can no longer place placeables on elevator pads (Explosive Jars, for example)

  • Fixed issues with snap crafting stations that wouldn't place due to an overlap error

  • Resized the Large Vertical Elevator so that it better fills the space in a 2x2 location

  • Added the missing Tavern Chair (LBPR) recipe to the Tavern Building feats.

Version 2.1.3

Bug Fixes, Changes, and Adjustments
  • Fixed the LBPR clan banners to correctly show the swap icon in the radial menu

  • Changed the dye flame on things like vanilla braziers, fireplaces, and etc to have a less aggressive ember effect. It should now look a bit more realistic and clip through the fireplace far less often.

  • Recompiled for the latest version of Conan Exiles

Additions
  • Added a set of tent assets. These are re-used devkit assets that have been retextured by ErynLyn. Instead of a very Stygian tent, commonly found in Purges and the Isle of Siptah, the tents are retextured so that they look more neutral with a plain cloth color that can be very easily dyed.

The recipe for the tent assets can be found as a Purge reward. You may also find individual tents found randomly in chests like any other placeable asset. Admins may also use the recipe to hand out to players as needed or set up via Pippi merchants.

Version 2.1.2

Bug Fixes, Changes, and Adjustments
  • Fixed the Candlestick - Bronze (LBPR) so it doesn't show up as a wall (could of sworn I fixed this, but its doubly fixed now

  • Fixed the copy and paste placeable LBPR Dye feature when using it on a server

  • Added several more water based parameters to check for. This will hopefully allow more mod based water placeables to be dyeable. However, this will only apply to "non-well" type placeables.

Additions
  • None for this update

Update: Jan 19, 2024 @ 12:43pm

Version 2.1.1

Bug Fixes, Changes, and Adjustments
  • Fixed the recipes rewarded with the Derketo religious feats.

  • Players may once again dye lights that don't have particle effects (lanterns, etc).

  • Fixed an issue with the LBPR dye window that caused the Save and Cancel buttons to be cutoff.

  • The scrollbar in the LBPR dye window is now slightly thicker to make it easier to grab with the mouse button.

  • Some description text on various recipes were corrected

Version 2.1.0

Bug Fixes, Changes, and Adjustments
  • Restored the Wall Glowing Lantern (LBPR) to its previous brightness prior to update v2.0.0

  • Adjusted some LBPR recipes so that they will appear in more appropriate (or correct) categories in the Construction Hammer.

  • Adjusted the location of the Thrall on the Tinker's Bench - Snap (LBPR) so that it clips through the floor less (it should line up with the thrall from the vanilla Tinker's Bench or very very close to it).

  • Fixed various snap placeables not being able to be locked

  • Removed the blocker that prevented movement of snap placeables using the vanilla move tool. Funcom added the ability to let you move snap based placeables in the Chapter 3 update.

However, that ability is currently restricted to single player mode only. Attempting to move a snap based placeable on a server will only result in the placeable moving back to its original location. This isn't a bug with the mod, that is the base game mechanic. The issue has already been reported.

  • Fixed candle particle placement when dyeing on various candle based placeables (such as the Aquilonian Brazier)

  • Various Battle Pass/DLC/Bazaar based particles (braziers, torches, etc) can now be dyed when they previously could not. Once again, this does not cover 100% of everything, but this inches us closer to covering the absolute vast majority of most particle based light sources.

  • Changed the name of the Decorative Surge Brazier and Decorative Focus Alter to Eldarium Large Brazier and Eldarium Small Brazier respectively

  • Bug Fix: Fixed the ability to place down Sorcerer and Magi Skulls

  • More cleanup of no longer used files

  • Can now properly dye Wheels of Pain

  • Players are now able to dye the particle on placeables that are not traditional light sources. These include things like the Sacrificial Stone, Transportory Stone, Burning Siege Cauldron, and etc.

  • Updated the weight amount on various placeables to reflect a previous Funcom update

  • Added a small light to the Burning Siege Cauldron (via actor component).

Additions
  • A copy and paste feature for the dye system has been added by Xevyr. This will allow two methods to copy dyes from a material channel or even entire placeables

    1) Copy and Paste a single color. In the Dye Window, players can select copy from the lower left hand corner to copy the current color. Players are then able to paste that color onto another material channel, or move to another placeable and paste it there.

    2) Players can Copy an entire placeable color combination, no matter how many material channels there are, and paste it onto another same placeable. For example, a players has made three Armorer Benches and want them to all have the same color schemes. The player can set up the dye combinations on one, then from the Radial Menu, Copy and Paste that color combination onto the other Armorer Benches.

Note: This must be identical placeables. Players will not be able to use this feature if the placeables are not the same type.

  • The Dye options have been adjusted so that they are now self contained in one LBPR AF Dye Radial Menu. To access all the available options to dye on the placeable, players may select the Main LBPR AF Menu option in the Radial, then other available options will open up from there.

  • Added a Dye Bottle Holder placeable. This placeable holds 10 dye bottles, each with their own material channel. The placeable will allow players to dye each material separately and to dye each bottle its own color. Then, players can copy the dye they intend to use and paste it to another placeable. This makes it easy for players to store their favorite colors for future use.

The recipe is rewarded via the Dyemaker feat.

  • Added a Candleholder (LBPR)

This uses one of the new meshes I imported for the Candles while using the vanilla Candleholder. Like all the other LBPR candle light sources, the candle is brighter and covers a larger area.

Update: Dec 30, 2023 @ 8:24pm

Version 2.0.2

Bug Fixes, Changes, and Adjustments
  • Fixed the Strongbox (LBPR) not being able to be destroyed via the construction hammer.

  • Reduced the height of the Tavern Bench (LBPR) so there will be less clipping when sitting down a Thrall at average height

  • Reduced the height and depth of the Fancy Bench (LBPR) so it fits better with Thralls at average height

  • Fixed the Repurposed Awning Banner's so that they can be dyed

  • Additional clean-up (ongoing efforts to optimize mod size).

  • Fixed the Stygian Ship Brazier (LBPR) textures

  • Fixed the Cimmerian Large Brazier (LBPR) textures

  • Reduced the smoke on some fire sources (the vanilla Iron Brazier, as an example)

Version 2.0.1

Update: Dec 28, 2023 @ 1:00am

Version 2.0.0

Note: Due to character limits, this is a simplified version of my Change Notes. A full log with longer descriptions is available via a Google doc on the BBB discord.

Major Additions
  • Introducing an extremely powerful dye system that gives more options than ever before. Created by the genius known as Xevyr, this system will let players dye placeables on a material level. This feature is designed to dynamically detect compatible materials and add them to the newly designed Dye Window.

The Dye Window is a color bar that lets players choose what color and strength. Each material the system finds can be individually dyed as players choose. While not every single placeable ever made will be dyeable, the vast majority will be. Players simply open in the interact window of the placeable, and select the LBPR AF Dye Icon. The system will automatically inform the player if a placeable is not compatible.

Most importantly, this Dye system works with just about anything. So long as the system detects parameters we have set up, it can be dyed. And yes, that even includes many DLC, Bazaar, or Battle Pass items!

As for the old Dye system, it should be disabled as of this update. Players that have previously dyed their placeables using the LBPR system will need to go back through and dye them again using the new system.

Major Changes
  • The vanilla changes done in this mod are being phased out (collision improvements, range of placement, etc). Thus, all affected pieces are set to DevItemOnly and are labeled with "Replace Me." This will prevent future mod versions of those vanilla items from being placed anymore. Any attempt to place vanilla specific placeables going forward will now be strictly vanilla.

These modded items will be fully removed in a future update.

Bug Fixes, Changes, and Adjustments
  • Resolved all known crashing issues

  • The Dyeable label has been removed from all LBPR placeables. Items that are fully discontinued will be marked as "DevItemOnly" (on the ItemTable) to prevent additional placing, and have a "Replace Me" or ?Legacy? tag on them. Otherwise, I am slowly converting affected items into completely new or alternative placeables, and this process will likely be conclude after a few updates to the mod. (see below for additional information).

  • Revisited many of the swap compatible placeables, along with making other items that weren?t previously part of this system into a swappable compatible placeable. Most of them now offer a larger variety of options. These include resize options where it's not uniform (like making a table wider but not taller, or a rug that resized on just the x but not the y or vice versa. And etc).

  • Added Gameplay Tags to all LBPR placeables. You will find various LBPR placeables in loot tables as appropriate.

  • Standing Skull Torch has had its particle effect changed

  • Saddler's Worktable - Snap is now correctly under the Crafting Stations category.

  • Improved placement of the Highlands Palisade. Also decreased the cost for crafting it. Finally, reduced the amount of durability damage it takes when hitting enemies from 5% to 2.5%.

  • Moved the Insulated Wooden Open Foundations from the Journeyman Construction (LBPR) Feat, to the Journeyman Mason (vanilla) feat. Updated the recipe cost of these pieces as well to match their vanilla counterparts. And their health has also been updated to correctly match Tier 2 health values.

  • Updated the health values for all the Window Hatches.

  • Candle Stub, Candle, and Candleholder (LBPR) have a new mesh and flame

  • The version of the Wall Lantern for LBPR has been renamed to Wall Glowing Lantern (LBPR).

  • The Standing Torch, Protected Torch, and Bracketed Torch (LBPR) have a new mesh and flame

  • Fireplace (LBPR) has a new mesh

  • Ancient Brazier (LBPR) has a new mesh and flame.

  • Set Brazier (LBPR) has a flame change

  • All mod items in this mod will no longer leave a ghost item in the hotbar.

  • The vanilla ladder has been restored to vanilla. There is now a modded version of the vanilla ladder called the, Ladder - More Sockets (LBPR).

  • Iron, Wall, and Hanging Braziers (LBPR) have a flame change and are 50% larger/longer than their vanilla counterparts.

  • Alchemist's Bench - Snap should now be easier to snap into place.

  • Cimmerian Brazier (LBPR) has been changed to Cimmerian Large Brazier (LBPR). In addition, it has a new mesh and flame.

  • Added Navmesh to all the Tavern Door Frames. This should help NPC's (and the purge) navigate better through those doors.

  • Renamed the Recycled Awning Carpet to Repurposed Awning Carpet.

  • Renamed the LBPR variant of the various vanilla banners to "Dynamic" to indicate their physics will initiate from much further out in distance to the player then a vanilla banner would.

  • Updated various recipe costs

  • Removed the Northern Banners (LBPR) feat and moved the recipes into the vanilla equivalent feat.

  • Sorcerer Cauldron had its flame particle changed.

  • Beam variants of the religion altars now require an LBPR token to make

  • Drawbridges have had their health reduced to match past vanilla changes

  • Renamed the various beds to better match vanilla counterparts. The common bed (Bed - Swap) has also been given swap options with different looks based on desire.

  • Weak Rope Bridge has had its socket costs reduced by 5. This will allow placement on a ceiling that's at 80 stability. In addition, more pillar sockets have been added to the bridge for additional placement options for the bridge. Finally, its building tags were removed to hopefully allow easier placement

  • Strongbox has been increased from 50 to 60 on the Size of the container. Large Strongbox has been increased from 68 to 80

  • Fixed the Brick Tavern Stairs so it can once again be placed

  • Tinker's Bench - Snap Thrall position fixed

  • Various chair type placeables have been updated for new Follower seating system

  • All religion based placeables are now crafted via the construction hammer

Additions
  • Added two new Bonfire's, Large Bonfire1 and Large Bonfire 2. In addition, the previously labeled Bonfire has been renamed to Medium Bonfire. Its mesh has also been changed and improved.

  • Added a Golden Stygian Snake Brazier. Can be found or looted from any place a non heroic treasure can be found.

  • Added several new candle options. 4 standing candle holders (2 are candlesticks), 7 wall options, and 4 ceilings. Unlike vanilla candles, these will produce actual visible light, albeit at less range then a torch, large flame based brazier, and etc.

  • Added a Wall Hook - Swap and Wall Pole - Swap placeable. Like the Hanging Chain Extension, these wall placeables are meant to offer a simple metal rod that can be used to take a ceiling placeable and place them underneath the pole. This turns any ceiling placeable into a wall decoration without the need to hang from a high ceiling.

  • Added a Witchfire Brazier and Witchfire Hanging Brazier with their own mesh and flame.

  • Added a Hanging and Standing Clan Emblem Banner.

  • Added a Fire Pit - Medium

  • Added a Ymir Stones Statue for Ymir

  • Added several placeables that were split off from their original Swap placeable (for example the Derketo statues are all individual statues instead of 1 Swappable).

Purge Additions

The following can only be gained via the Purge rewards. More could (or likely will) be added over time

  • Stygian Brazier (LBPR) has been changed to Stygian Ship Brazier (LBPR). The other Stygian Brazier (LBPR)'s name remains the same. In addition, in both cases, they have a new mesh and flame.

  • Added a Decorative Surge Brazier and Decorative Focus Altar.

  • Stygian Tripod Brazier (LBPR) is now named Stygian Snake Brazier (LBPR).
