Unification Update

- Fixed some major bugs with the unification system that were basically just breaking the whole thing.
- Did some work on Prussia, but I think the whole tree needs to be redesigned.
- Made it so that, when a party wins elections, all of its partisans go away, but if there are partisans of any ideology at least four steps away on the political spectrum, they increase by 1 level each.
- Made Alyaska an independent country from Transbaikalia.

Overdue Update
- Changed a bunch of things. I've been sitting on this update for a while, so I'm not 100% sure what's new. Sorry.

Update: Nov 5, 2018 @ 11:24pm

Nukes Update
- Typed a big long description. Steam ate it. Eat me, Steam. Not typing all that again.
- Added some starting OOBs (Turkistan, Transbaikalia, and Two Sicilies).
- Added the ability for radnat France to talk the White Entente (former-Russian-Empire white movement) into joining the Pacte de Fer, aligning France against the communists.
- Made some tweaks to how ideology and revolutions work to decrease the chances of AI trying to declare war on an ally, which is a common CTD cause in HoI4 and the only one I know of in this mod currently. AI will be less likely now to join a faction of a radically different ideology from its own, and if a country that's a subject would have a revolution of the same ideology its overlord has, it switches peacefully to the ideology instead.
- Beefed up nukes to about double damage and to exactly double build time. Nuke use and nuke management are a lot more important in endgame warfare now.
- In 1955, you can switch (for free through a decision) to a new endgame focus tree that's similar to the generic centrist tree but gives larger rewards. This can potentially cause an ideology flip, but the AI is biased slightly toward staying wherever it already is this time around.
- Reworked the "End of History" scenario to take place in 1955. It now portrays a total radnat victory in Eurasia and a high degree of success by the syndicalists in the Americas. It isn't supposed to be the canon ending or anything; it's just a bonus/testing scenario meant to jump right in to endgame nuclear war.

The Center Cannot Hold Update
- Made some improvements to AWR's focus tree.
- Added a second generic focus tree that's available only to countries that start out progressive, liberal, or conservative.
- Added a decision-based system for German unification and Italian unification.
- Made some tweaks to economic ideas and decisions.
- Changed more country colors.
- Fixed a bug that was causing countries with a little falangism popularity to pretty much automatically turn falangist.

Democracy Update
- Added election events. Countries other than the USA and CSA get a generic event. The USA and CSA get specific events, although only the ones for 1936 (USA) and 1934 (CSA) are implemented so far.
- Made a lot of changes to the USA's focus tree. It's no longer a placeholder focus tree but an incomplete focus tree with placeholder elements.
- Made some changes to the foreign politics parts of the Austrian, AWR, French, Ottoman, and Prussian focus trees.
- Added a political subtree to the beginning of CSA's focus tree. Note that you are not guaranteed to have the party you back win the 1934 election.
- Split California off from the Pacific Union.
- Began work on starting party popularities / pressure / partisans for the British Empire.

Update: Oct 23, 2018 @ 3:42am

USA Update
- USA now has the beginnings of a focus tree.
- Some countries (mostly former-Russian-Empire countries) had their starting politics changed to fit lore.
- A bunch of small stuff was fixed.

Update: Oct 20, 2018 @ 8:58am

Conflict Update
- Added placeholder focus trees for Brazil, Mexico, Japan, and the Russian SSR to get some world wars going.
- Fleshed out the socioeconomic systems from the previous update some more.
- Made numerous small cosmetic changes.
- Added an Easter egg.

Update: Oct 15, 2018 @ 6:23pm

Socioeconomics Update
- Added ideology popularity, which is based on influence from Millennium Dawn and works in a very similar way.
- Changed economic laws so that, rather than level of economic mobilization, they represent the basic structure of the economy. The modifiers are still pretty rough, but it's a starting point, at least.
- Added two countries to the game: Piratini and White Finland.
- Emboldened more map colors.

Update: Oct 10, 2018 @ 6:56pm

Aesthetics Update
- Added eight songs to the soundtrack.
- Slightly reworked the rules for weighted shuffle.
- Changed France's map color and changed the map colors of a few other countries to be less pastel-y and more distinct.
- I realized I forgot to give away a few of France's islands, so this has been done.
- The "Great Depression" event popup at the beginning of every game has been removed. Non-socialist countries just start with the "Great Depression" timed idea instead.
- Removed "Catholic Majority" idea from Cascadia, Pacific Union, and Yugoslavia.
- Fixed localization for Brazil's name and changed its starting ideology to integralist.

Update: Oct 10, 2018 @ 2:03am

Giant Update
- Changed basically everything. It would be impossible to list it all.
