I am base line experienced with reskins and i can my focus trees with ideas and stuff like that, you can take look at what i did with my only "Unknown" release a Austrian Focus tree mod, it got a bit broken by the new DLC and update/s but i fixed it, i can also make generals which i have made plenty. if you would want to have another person to help you can comment on my profile as its public. I can put the time in but currently ill be able to only put in a few hours but in late spring i will be able to put more hours in.

There are other people involved in coming up with lore, but I'm the only one who does implementation. I'd love to have more people involved on that end if anyone actually wants to put the time in.

The update I mentioned in my last comment is live.

Update: I was looking into why exactly the game crashes if you have DLC turned off, and I found that only Man the Guns is actually required to make the game run. I've also narrowed down the reason to the legacy naval OOBs, and I have a patch ready that brute-forces a solution by turning off most of those OOBs. I'm going to release it this weekend along with further updates to the Guns of the Patriots storyline content. It's possible that, by then, I'll have further narrowed down the issues and can turn some of the legacy naval OOBs back on, but otherwise, just stick to playing the GotP countries (USA, AWR, CAL) for now so that you're not arbitrarily deprived of your navy (unless you have MtG).

Have added the Nazbol party as a Prussian political party, which should be fleshed out more in a future update. I should specify, though, that the intention is that every ideology should include potential downsides, including the author's own ideology.

Because it's looking so much like Guns of the Patriots is almost done, I want to hold off until it feels like a major release, but I may break it up into multiple parts if I find it's taking too long. The partisan system is either done or nearly done. A few more countries have some kind of content. Don't expect too much, as I'm still the only one working on implementation, and I don't have the time I used to to work on it, but I hope to make it worth the wait.

Ah! Okay, that might be it, then. I have TfV, MtG, and LR, and ever since I got the mod compatible with them, I've never tried it with them turned off. I can try to confirm this, but I believe the mod requires them to work properly.

It is updated for NSB. I have every content DLC except for BBA, and it runs fine on my machine with the newest game version. Do you know how to check error.log?

TheBurritoBandit, I don't know how to fix the error because there's no error when I try to run the game on my system. My best guess as to why the game is crashing for some people is that people are running it with a different set of DLC than what I have. I've added a note to the mod description indicating which DLC it requires and which ones I haven't yet been able to make it compatible with. I think the error is happening for a number of people lately because they have BBA, and I don't have the budget for it right now. If you have BBA, try turning it off.

Right now, I would really only consider the USA and AWR to have "proper" focus trees, and the current priority is to get those up to a decent level of polish before moving on to other countries. I completely agree that most of the focus trees are bad. It's just a matter of getting the time to work them out as a one-person project or convincing other people to get involved.

Okay, the game doesn't crash for me, but I can venture a guess: Do you have By Blood Alone? I don't, so I can't test for compatibility with it. Try disabling it, and see if the problem persists.

My computer was broken for a few weeks, so I'll have to see if a new game update has broken the mod. Jamiebear, I'm not sure what you mean, but if you want to make a submod, that's fine with me.

I love the map but the focus trees are boring so would it be possible to make a version of your mod with out changing the focus trees

behm.marius99, try setting the game version to 1.10.8 if you haven't already. The only way I'm able to replicate this bug is by using the wrong game version.
