Description
The Weapon and System Pod Eagle is designed as a one-size-fits-all modular vehicle. The basic core chassis on its own is merely a ship-to-surface vessel with three medium cargo containers, but its actual strength comes from the onboard projectors and equipment stored therein. While the side sockets provide mounting points for W.A.S.P. Cargo Pods, secondary mounting points along the hull are intended for Vehicle Frames, that alter the Eagle's basic capabilities to suit the task at hand.

Like all W.A.S.P. Vehicles, the Eagle works by generating projected blueprints against the onboard Merge Blocks, allowing Engineers to weld prefabricated parts onto the Pod with nothing more than their own welder setup. Once you no longer need the equipment, simply jettison the module(s) in question and recycle into raw materials for the next set. There is also a separate Projector for repairing the Pod when damage is taken.

Hotbars

9: Frame Projectors and Merge Blocks.
1: General Flight. Thrusters, and a Master On/Off.
2: Nose Mounts and Socket controls. 8 will Eject the pod, 9 is a reset and connect for all mounts (just give it a jab to Lock all connectors as need be).
3: Dorsal and Side Mount Projectors.

-Frame Packs-

-Zero-G Frame: This is a quartet of thruster pods to enhance spaceflight maneuverability a little. And mostly exist as a conceit for discrete basic Jump Drive pods.

-Rover Frame: When you don't have the parts, or fuel, for getting out of the atmosphere there is a set of wheels to turn your Eagle into a sweet exploration buggy. Disable your maneuvering thrusters and head for the hills. The rear-mounted Large Hydrogen Engine is also on its own on/off toggle for those times when you want to try Rocket-Powered Bad Ideas off of a steep cliff.

-Heavy VTOL Frame: For when you need a vehicle that can heft large loads in atmosphere, whether for construction, grinding, or mining.

-Aerospace Frame: A cheaper set of engines to get you airborne on Atmospheric Engines and a set of Azimuth BIG Engines for when you get up into orbit. Goes well with the Combat Pod for starfighter fun. Also comes with a pair of Decoy Pods strapped to the rear Frame Mounts. To use them, use the Timers in the decoy pods to trigger their activation and release.

-Equipment Pods-

-Nose Mount-

-Twin Welders: Goes on the Nose Mount and welds stuff.

-Twin Grinders: Goes on the Nose Mount and grinds stuff.

-Mining Drillhead: A basic drillhead for mining. If you ditch everything else mounted to the Eagle, you can Mole Machine your way underground with it.

-Excavation Rig: When you want to make that sweet underground base, or simply tunnel through a mountain, just equip this bad boy and start drilling into the cliffside. Works great with the Heavy VTOL Frame, but be aware you may want to way down the Pod with some ballast if you intend to use it with the Rover Frame. Excess stone is ejected out of the drillset, so no disposal setup is necessary.

-Combat Pod: A quartet of Gatling Guns and twin reloadable Rocket Launchers. Fun for everyone!

-Side Mounts-

-W.A.S.P. Cargo Pods: A pair of modular cargo pods included free, mounting to the side-sockets

-Turret Pods: For when you really just need a nice little gunship to get your way. Comes with Missile Turrets, but nothing stoping you from manually grinding them off to stick your mod weapons of choice in their place.

-Dorsal Mount-

-Travel Pad: For when you need to resupply your buddies, or just carry another subcraft around.

-Extended-Long-Range Flight Pod (ELF Pod): A Jump Pod designed to ferry the Eagle to where it needs to go, and be jettisoned upon arrival. Onboard batteries allow the heavy module to recharge, with stationkeeping thrusters to prevent drift, while you go do your thing. Once you're ready to head back, just dock and Jump home.
