Description
Houffalize ist eine strategische Lage während der Deutschen Ardennenoffensive. Die Stadt befindet sich an der Hauptverkehrsstraße zwischen Bastogne und Liège. Da sie die Schlüsselkreuzung für wichtige Realversorgung der nachkommenden Streitkräfte der Wehrmacht ist.Kommt es auf beiden Seiten zum heftigen Widerstand. Die Karte erzählt die Geschichte vor der Bombardierung der Royal Air Force. erstellt von SpaidaMa

i spent a nice long match on this map last night, the urban area in the middle is great! the frozen river provides nice high-risk crossing zones for armor but let infantry pretty freely rush the flanks of the chokepoints. Makes for some fun hammer and anvil based attack/counterattack situations that really kept things interesting. My only suggestion so far (if pure fun is the intention as opposed to going for a realistic scene) is the first bridge crossing on one side of the map tends to get choked up with friendly vehicles if you don't micromanage the crossing. its epecially problematic with the AI but only happened 2-3 times to where i had to untangle a bunch of move orders from reinforcing units before they would cross. It seemed like the other half of the map had one more bridge that the enemy AI split between and they did not have these bunching issues. all in all, a great map that will get several more matches out of me to say the least.

anywho, map looks awesome, i quite like these winter maps and we definitely needed more winter maps with heavy urban elements, especially 4-8p ones. Thanks a ton Spida~
