I do not know why: I tried to begin a new game, save it and load it: it did not crash. So this is not because of the scenario itself.
However, as I said, I liked this scenario. :-)
Don't transition to the imperial age early. I think it will trigger green and red to transition to the same age. Then, you are more likely get into the situation in which your bases are easily wiped out with floods of tribs and onager, accompanying incessant war wagons and knights from green side and arbalests and light cavalries from the red one. And I also found that you can just load some tribs and War wagons with a transportation ships and drop in the area where the wonder /is being built/has been built. Then You can destroy them in a comparatively easy manner in comparison with, you know, attacking overland.
There are some challenging points:
-The first few waves until you fortify your bases with two tower, with each containing 5 archers
And Stone walls behind the wood ones.
- scanty stone : It is a extremely decisive one to me since you can't defense enemy with a building.
- And the time pressure, arising from a wonder. Once you destroy the wonder, then you can clear it anyways, even though it takes several more hours.
The way AIs countered our units building was a kind of annoying, but I'd say it was fun to me. This scenario is actually not as hard as pre-nerfed Dracula 5, Sforza 5 and Sundjata 5 or even Langsan Jang.
It does worth playing on hard-mode once.
