Description
This mod adds the M21, the sniper version of the M14, from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Remastered, for snipers and sharpshooters, for now.

If you have issues with this mod or spotted a bug, please report it in the Bug Report Thread. If you want to provide feedback, whether its good or bad, then post in the General Feedback Thread.
If you are thinking of downvoting this mod, please provide feedback first, so I know what I should improve on/did wrong.

I don't ask for donations. Period.

FEATURES

  • You can apply camo and custom colors to the weapon.
  • Custom sounds from MSKyuuni.
  • You can configure the mod to your liking.
  • You can upgrade the weapon to magnetic and beam tiers.
  • Custom model for the aim, crit bonus, miss damage, and free kill.
KNOWN ISSUES
  • I've reduced most of the texture from 2048x2048 to 1024x1024, saving everyone some memory. Honestly, there isn't any reason to use 2048x2048 and bigger for weapons.
  • I've disabled the rest of the attachments, since there aren't any models for those.
  • Needs a better weapon icon.
  • Equipping the Miss Damage Upgrade (Laser Sight) while still having the scope equipped will not show up. Add a Crit Bonus Upgrade or Aim Bonus Upgrade to get the Laser Sight.
  • May look alike to the M14, but don't be fooled by it!
TODO
  • Fix some bugs, if any.
  • Port more weapons.

how can i make this weapon available as a standart rifle? (SVD and M-14 kind like)

Dear everyone,

I'm sorry to say this, but I probably won't update my weapon mods since my work on the inevitable weapon megapack is nearly complete. However, this statement might change later in the future if I decide that progress on the weapon megapack is going nowhere.

Darn. Okay I'll have to try and find those ini's and dig around a bit. Do you happen to know the steam path file? I've searched through their page a bit and can't find it. If you don't, don't worry about it.

Either way great work on the weapons! They all look great.

That depends if Pavonis externalized the Action Cost of the sniper firing and standard firing abilities.

Most likely they didn't.

That makes sense, I can move and use the crit shot from LW2, so you're saying my best bet is to try and edit the ini regarding normal sniper shooting?

That's definitely not happening, since it's tied to the ability itself and not the weapon.

Is it possible to make this cost 1 action to let it move and shoot? I'm trying to change this to resemble the DMR mod that got taken down awhile back. Less damage but lets you move and shoot like normal.

I would add the ghille M21, but most of the attachments would just clip through. I'd have to add a special version of the M21, maybe later down the line.
