Sleepy hamlets became nameless industrial centers almost over night, filled with refugees from the hinterlands driven from their farms by forced collectivization and famine.

These forbidding cities became even more inhospitable with the arrival of winter. Factories turn into fortresses, roads into kill zones, key points must be pried from winter's icy grip and protected from your enemy.
