Description

Modifies default tank technology tree, expanding it with extra tiers of medium and heavy tanks to better represent historical tank development. Adds few more types of armoured fighting vehicles. Replaces default tank icons with slightly more accurate versions in the same style, adding where available custom icons for anti-tank, artillery and anti-air variants (with generic icons for fictional models)

specific changes:
* line-up of medium and heavy tanks expanded to five tiers
* research time of individual models reduced from 200 to 180 days, to keep similar overall research time
* removed research links between technology branches, to reduce ability to rush late-game techs
* modern tank tech delayed to 1948
* new equipment type added: armoured cars and heavy armoured cars
* new equipment type added: infantry fighting vehicle
* new equipment type added: armoured train

Implemented: SOV, GER, ITA, ENG, ♥♥♥
Partially implemented: USA, FRA (missing flavour gfx and names for tank variants)

Ironman compatible: no
compatibility with other mods: will conflict with mods which alter technologies panel, tank technology branch, or setup files of the major countries.

WARNING! Carry on reading! Or you will die, even if you only looked at the word warning! Once there was a little boy called Joey, he was ten-years-old and he lived in a mental hospital because he posted a crappy copypasta onto a People Playground mod's comment section . He got so bad he went to kill all the staff in the hospital so the Feds decided that best idea was to get rid of him so they set up a special room to kill him, as inhumane as possible. And he sat there in agony for hours until he died. Now every week on the day of his death he returns to the person that reads this letter, on a monday night at 12:00 a.m. He creeps into your room and kills you slowly, by pegging you and watching you bleed to death. Now send this to ten other profiles on this one site, and he will haunt someone else who doesn't. This isn't fake. apparently if u copy and paste this to ten comments in the next ten minutes nothing will happen: sorry man i am not taking the risk

Get in touch sometime. I am a well read, well versed historian that majored to retire lately. I do have some great ideas that I would like to bounce off of you to see what you think of them. As a historian I can do my determined best to give you the names and information on various weapons and vehicles that they used. Maybe we can make something pretty cool once we get all of the right ideas out. Let's plan to talk shop or something.
