Medieval Survivors

Description
A scenario I created for Vindar's Medieval Times mod.

After King Reginald's death, chaos ensued across the provinces. You take what little silver and supplies you can muster, and lead your group to create an empire.

Your faction will be a tribe.
Start with 4 people.
Player starting characters have a 100% chance to start with malnutrition.
Start with research: Brewing
Start with research: Smithing
Start with research: Medieval Technologies
Start with research: Stonecutting
The stat "research speed factor" will be universally multiplied by 25%.

Incident(s) disabled:
-Orbital trader arrival
-Toxic fallout
-Psychic drone
-Psychic soothe
-Ship part crash (psychic)
-Refugee pod crash
-Resource pod crash
-Ship part crash (poison)
-Ship chunk drop
-Fibrous mechanites
-Sensory mechanites

Start with:
-Silver x200
-Pemmican x130
-Herbal medicine x24
-Jerked Meats x20
-Medieval Long Sword
-Crossbow
-Steel x450
-Wood x300
-Medieval Arming Sword

Nah you're not a noob lmao, its just Rimworld's scenario creator sort of sucks. Anyway I hope you like the scenario.

Yea i've had a poke in it here and there. I just wasn't sure if i was just a noob or not--the only things i've ever modded were morrowind (10+yrs ago), and more recently, Starbound (2 years ago) lol.

Unfortunately the scenario creator is fairly limited and unflexible. So I couldn't disable them for 1 or 2 years. However, it would be possible to remake the scenario just with them enabled.

Is it possible to do this so that the "techy" events are only disabled for say 1-2 years? Where they can dynamically show up after you've had some time to set up? I've been wondering about a scenario (first time actually using Medieval Times) using MT that let you go from near tribals like the vanilla one, all the research-way through the end game with some glitter mods added.

Just curious anyway; Great scenario for just a medieval style run though, trying it out today :)

I've uploaded my own medieval start scenario. "Medieval Start With Nothing" All non-medieval buildings and incidents have been disabled. Hopefully it will be useful for a lot of people. :) https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=844935897
