Relations Tab

Replaces the faction tab with a relations tab. The relations tab shows, in a very graphical way, relations between your colonists and with other factions.

In games with many faction mods or a lot of colonists, the dynamic displays may ‘explode’. There’s three things you can do to mitigate this problem;

- Use the static circle view. In the top right of the tab there is a button to switch between circle and dynamic views (may be hidden underneath the tutorial window).
- Reset the dynamic view until it stops exploding. The button to reset the dynamic algorithm is in the top right of the window, next to that for cicle view (and may also be hidden by the tutorial).
- Tweak the parameters for the dynamic algorithm. In the mod options (Menu -> Options -> Mod Options -> Relations Tab) you can tweak the parameters for the algorithm. There is a short description of what each parameter does in the options as well.

- In games with a lot of factions/colonists, the algorithm may ‘explode’. See the ‘Notes’ section on how to fix this.
- Some mods (noticably, the Zabrak faction) change pawn rendering in such a way that it breaks the relations tab. I’m looking for the root cause of this.

Incompatibility with [O21] races?

@little andy: In theory, yes. Some specific factions do cause problems though. If you'd be so kind as to upload that player.log somewhere, I might be able to do something about it.

is this compatible with orion's faction discovery? i can't seem to find the new faction on the relations tab, and it causes an error when i click on their faction.

@Je suis DedPol: Should be, but please let me know ;)
@M M: There's a movie, what more do you want?
@BigBob99: I highly doubt this mod is causing that, but if you're sure, send me a player.log and I'll have a closer look.

is this mod compatible with dynamic diplomacy?

@Tyrant; You may have noticed that I do actually package these 1.0 assets in the 1.0 folder as well. This is me hoping that at some point in the future, 1.0 will have the same rules as 1.1+.

It seems less and less likely that this will actually happen :'(.
Fluffy  [author] May 9 @ 3:21pm
@Tyrant; essentially, 1.0 only allows for loading defs and assemblies from a versioned folder. Translations, textures and sounds are all assumed to not be versioned.

From 1.1 onwards, everything except for the About folder itself can be versioned.

The easier way would probably be to delete the settings for Relations Tab. In RimWorlds' config folder (C:\Users\<USER>\AppData\LocalLow\Ludeon Studios\RimWorld by Ludeon Studios\Config), you will find various .XML files for mod settings. The one for Relations Tab is called 'Mod_709317151_Controller.XML', deleting it will reset the settings.

Hey Fluffy I wanted to know, what are the default settings of relationships tab? because I've tinkered with it here and there but I want it back to default without having to reset every mod
Tyrant May 8 @ 10:06am
That explains it. Do you have a list of files that have to be in the root directory for 1.0 compatibility to function?
