XCOM EU/EW Ports: Tier 2 Armour [Vanilla XCOM2]

Description
31/08/17: For WOTC, http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1124524679

07/04/16 Note: most of this mod was split off from the original mod keeping everything together was getting kinda unwieldy

Ports and edits of X-COM Tier 2 Armour

Currently includes:
Carapace Armour(1 male variant, 2 female (EU/EW))
Basic Kit system for carapace armour, usable in the left and right arm deco slots.
Carapace 1 Deco from Slingshot, male and female
Deco 2 another pouch one
Heavy Carapace Deco

To do:
Add back in missing colour mask for carapace armour whilst keeping emit layer. (Still not happy with it)
Re rig front flaps on deco 1 and 2 (when I cba)
Make parts of the normal map less curved inwards on the deco torsos (if I can figure out how, and also when I cba)

Changelog:
07/05/16:
Added Heavy Carapace Deco and "Deco 2"
Change occlusion maps, tweaked tint map

07/04/16:
Split mod from Helmet mod
Added: X1 Carapace 1 Deco, Torso and Arm Deco for male and female

Whenever I select the options in the menu, on the character they are black. Any idea why?

how did you manage to port the assets into xcom 2

i want to add SHIVS to vanilla xcom, and i figured out how to unpack/extract the assets from the xcom EU upk files

but when i go into the xcom 2 modbuddy, it doesnt let me import any of the xcom 1 animaton / skeletal files etc. into the unreal engine editor. says there's "missing data" or something. gives me the same error for importing .txt files too, so im wondering if im just tryping to import them into the wrong place?

is there a specific third party program you use?

Hey, just a question, but does this mod cause issues when you research teh Codex Brain Shadow Project? When I did in my playthrough it stopped the scanning, but the cutscene did not trigger. The Decrypt Codex Brain Shadow Project was unlocked however. I was just curious if you knew anything about this XD

Need of the option for thighs to have no thighs attached (none). I have plethora of different armors and this mod or Tier 3 mod have addition of thighs attachment that causes leg armor plates attach to every single armor. Need option to disable that.

Just started playing WotC and this was the first mod I went to see if it was updated. Thanks for your work on this Kablamm0fish. Looking forward to adding this gear to the new DLC.

Kablamm happy to hear you're working on it. Its my number one mod i use along with basic cosmetic mods like haor and tattoos

Aye that's what the other modders have been doing; creating seperate builds and uploading them as different mods. Hope it goes well! I'll definitely pick it up if it gets the conversion as I love this mod.

@Angry Rope

Yeah I've been trying to fix it using the new sdk, found out that the xpac for some reason kept launching my base compiled stuff, so had to clear out my local mods folder before things started working again.

Will be an update soonish, it's kinda a big one work wise, but users would only really notice I added base skeleton armour.

I will need to split off a WOTC Version though, things don't load for my base X2 if I use WOTC compiled stuff.

Hey Keblam! The issue with WOTC seems to be to do with the new shaders. You have to download the toolkit to update it with the new shaders. That's what Stenchfury and Capnbubs have been doing. (There may be other issues too but that's the one I'm aware of)
