Going to end support for this mod, messing around with the code killed off any interest in modding for about a year, if I actually finish off the other tiers, they'll probably just be skins for the XSkin system. I give permission to use assets from this mod, just give credit.

Ports and edits of X-Com Tier 1 Weapons

The pistol is back, it only took what....3/4 months?

Rocket Launcher?: When I can figure out how to make it not look wierd.

Basic Features:
Really badly written descriptions, good thing it's editable if you want to be all tacticool about it.
All weapon stats can be configured in their ini files
All weapons have firing sounds and muzzle flashes from X1, although whether they sound the same as in X1 is another question
Can be built multiple times or only once same as the Alien Hunter weapons. (Toggleable, defaults to multiple)

Per Weapon Features:
X9 Assault Rifle: Bog standard AR, nothing really special about it, easiest one to split up for upgrade model changes. Mild kitbashing performed.

Shotgun: Basically rebuilt the thing using X1 and X2 parts, bit of a mess, but I'm quite happy with now the mag upgrades are displayed on the thing

Pistol: This one isn't a pistol, more of a hand cannon, best at medium range, fixed up the textures from the old release.

Sniper Rifle: Second easiest to split up, updated how the bolt rail thing is animated, but dodn't seem to stick in the udk, ah well

LMG: Probably the least modifible model wise, not a lot could be split off naturally, this did force me to figure out how to at least modify animations from the base game. The fire and surpression animations are (badly) elongated version of the base rifle animations. This one also probably sounds the least like its X1 version.

I'm ruining your ini edits yet again.

Added ini boolean for cosmetic only setting, this defaults to on therefore changing the infinite build boolean to default true now (Costs still haven't been changed, squad upgrade costs are cheaper than base X2 upgrades but seeing as you need to build these individually, seems more fair). Custom stat edits only work when set to false.

Fixed the damage spread not applying if Long War Toolbox is installed.

Removed a line I missed that caused aliens not to be able to dodge the plasma tier LMG.

Maybe fixed the sniper rilfe not firing sound, will need more bug reports for this one.

13/06/16:
Mag tier and above versions use mag firing visuals and reaper round sounds, plasma tier will probably get changed later.
Weapon Icons swtiched to colour versions (still trying to figure out how to overlay the blue in mission), fixed some icon issues for mods.
Some tiny texture and model stuff.

Added option for building multiple copies of weapons into ini file (boolean toggles in each weapon type's ini file), by default it's disabled. To make this work completely without odd bugs, I've had to make the gauss tier upgrade a requirement for the plasma tier upgrade for both single and multiple build options. Technically I've split squad upgrade and weapon build costs, but I haven't changed any of the numbers.

All assets in this mod are made by Firaxis, I just ported/made them work in X2.

3/4 of a month just for a pistol?! I knew that importing assets from older games was a headache of work. Point is, I want you to know I appreciate all the hard work you've gone through to make this happen.

Disregard my previous comment, I got confused with another mod. These guns look great in game. I also appreciate the unique sound effects.

Not a bad idea. Unfortunately implementation could be improved, as these weapon models are much lower polygon than XCOM 2 standards, and these end up looking like toy guns.

The LMG doesn't show up at all in LW 2 but the other weapons do.
