Before I submitted the Mag-7: SWAG7 I posted various sets of tests[imgur.com] to the SWAGCORP usergroup of a perfect tile pattern featuring the SWAG sticker artwork. (Oddly enough I had to remake the sticker itself as a lot of the metallic effect was created in the ingame renderer thanks to the exponent variable combined with a normal map creating edge highlights.)

Although the results looked pretty cool in my eyes, the impression I got was that it wasn’t bespoke enough; so I shelved it. Until, that is, I read the recent post about requiring more low tier weapons.

This pattern itself is repetitive, monotone, with the bonus of being a little bit bling - and specifically works best on the Glock due to the slider being the only part that receives a texture in the Patina application mode; the silver on black looks very slick. So I thought I’d dust it off and present it.

I have my doubts about gold, so I’ve played it safe and opted for a bright silver to black transition. I actually rather conversely prefer the black which is how it looks when severely battle scarred.
