Originally made for CSGO, I have recreated these designs for the new CS2 models. The 'Nightfire dragon' is noteworthy for being one of the most viewed items in my workshop, and the 'Kumicho Dragon' design exists in the game on the desert eagle.

As such I expect some people will have an opinion on them, if so feel free to let me know what you think below.

As an extra note I made the metal on the Kumicho slightly more blueish than the deagle, so there is an inconsistency. I just preferred how it looked. I realise with PBR that its appearance is heavily influenced by the map due to the reflective properties. But I believe every skin should be custom made rather than toe the line for consistency sake.

Also note the grips are lighter than I wanted them to be as there is an in game PBR check that highlights areas in blue that are too dark. As such the darkest wear states dictate what the minimum lightness value can be. Its more important to pass the checks than fail and be incompatible!

I've been fiddling with this for several weeks now and think its ready for feedback.

The biggest dilemma I faced was whether to mimic a traditional native indian artstyle or my own vector based style of illustration. I've gone with the latter as it felt more fun, but I may come back to this at a later date to make a second iteration.

This project was mostly an exercise in getting to grips in substance painter now that I have to use it for the additional maps cs2 requires, so I expect my output will gradually improve the more I spend time in it, but for now I'm happy with a reasonable first attempt!
