Original AoE2 Fire & flames

Compatible with: Age of Empires II HD base game, The Forgotten, African Kingdoms, Rise of the Rajas.

Requires: Game version 4.0 or newer.

This mod replaces the new fire graphics introduced in HD Edition with those from the original release of Age of Empires 2, and is compatible with game version 4.0 (new workshop system) and above.

I've created this mod from scratch because there's not currently one available that works with the new system. However, if authors of pre-existing original fire mods update their own ones to the new system, I'll remove this one.

Are you using version 3.9 or earlier? (such as the Windows XP build)
I reccomend using Trisolo Scenario TC's mod, which has not yet been updated so works for those version at present:
