Description
This mod slightly edits the following wonders, which I almost never build because their bonuses are marginal or situational. Some of these wonders are okay, but they're at an inconvenient place in the tech tree or they compete with other buildings and wonders. And there are a few (I'm looking at you Angkor Wat!) that are so bad I wouldn't build them even if I had several engineers loitering around.

Angkor Wat +1 Faith on river tiles in this City. Provides a free Workshop in the city in which it is built. (Moved to Metal Casting)

Broadway +10% Gold in all cities. +2 Happiness per Opera House and Broadcast Tower. (Retains base game attributes)

CN Tower (Moved to Penicillin)

Cristo Redentor +1 Production and Food from Coast and Ocean Tiles. All Seaports generate +5 Gold. City must be built on the coast. (Moved to Combustion)

Great Firewall +15% Production in all cities. +2 Spies.

Great Mosque All Missionaries born in this city can spread religion three times. Provides a free Caravansary in the city in which it is built. (Moved to Currency)

Neuschwanstein (Moved to Dynamite)

Pentagon +25% Production when training military units. Provides a free Military Academy in every City.

Statue of Zeus Gold costs of acquiring new tiles reduced by 50% in every city. Provides a free Barracks in the city in which it is built. (Moved to Mining)

Sydney Opera House (Moved to Electronics)

... Somehow you missed the Terracotta Army... how is that not included?

the great firewall one really amused me. It CAN'T give a production boost in any aspect! Instead it could cause some negative effect on science and culture! LOL~ I think it would be of more importance to improve some ancient wonders like the terracotta army, great wall, and borobudur etc. they are really weak and have little impact on the later game.

is there a way i can prehaps go into the mod once downloaded and remove the extra spies in the great firewall? i feel it would be too OP and could possibly conflict with mods that involve spies

i like the Angkor Wat faith buff very much but other wonders have too many effects

So what is your thought on the purpose of a wonder?
framedarchitecture  [author] Feb 23, 2015 @ 11:51am
@Danny I think we fundamentally disagree on the purpose of having Wonders in the game at all.

The only thing I agree with is moving CN tower to be available a bit earlier...
A lot of wonders are more to help to remove a weakness not just give big buffs. :\

Or just because you want to build more wonders as they can make lots of culture for you, for a culture victory. ^^

Is it possible to disable certain wonder changes in the mod? I'd like most of them, but I have another mod that changes the Statue of Zeus already and would prefer to keep the standard Firewall. Great job all around though (I'm digging the Pentagon and Wat changes in particular). ^_^ b

EDIT - Oh, I just looked at some of your other mods and saw mention of deleting folders for stuff I didn't want. I'll assume that works here too. You might want to stick that note in the description for this mod just in case people end up here first like I did. :)

@Iron Dome My Central Station National Wonder transforms all owned road tiles into railroad tiles. That's available as part of my National Wonders mod .

@Kajio
Awesome idea about a "Transcontinental Railroad". If you know how to mod, why not make it? That's a good idea you have, and very practical ingame, especailly for large empires...
