Beskrivelse

- New 1.3.3 Update has been released: More information on our website![divideetimperamod.com]

Please consider donating to support the mod[divideetimperamod.com], thanks!

Make sure you load the 3 mod parts in the correct order - Part 1 goes above the others in the mod launcher.

Divide et Impera is a total overhaul of Rome 2 that seeks to provide a challenging, historically authentic, realistic experience of the ancient world and warfare. Divide et Impera was named CA's best Overhaul Mod 2014, CA's Most Innovative for 2015 and also won Player's Choice in both 2014 and 2015. We have continued developing and updating over the entire course of Rome 2's life. Thanks to all of our players for your support!

As a complete overhaul of the game, there are thousands of new and changed features, units and unique systems that create a specific and specialized experience for the player. For that reason, most mods are not compatible with DeI and we recommend you try the mod out by itself before adding other submods.

- Overhauled Battle System from the ground up with new mechanics, better AI and more realistic combat.
- Over 3000 new units for 45+ playable factions including an Area of Recruitment system.
- A Unique and Customized Population System that adds depth and strategy to recruitment.
- A Supply System that requires logistical planning.
- A Specialized Reform system based on various triggers for different factions.
- Special Cultural and Factional systems that make each faction feel unique.
- New and Customized Economy and Hundreds of New Buildings
- Character Systems with various RPG elements and special traits
- Much, much, much, much more!

- Do not use any TPY mods or other startpos mods with DeI. Do not use any camera or scripting mods with DeI.
- Most mods (other than graphics mods) will not be compatible with DeI. Various submods are available to help alter the mod experience to the player's taste. They can be found at our Submod Forum[www.twcenter.net] or Steam Submod Collection
- It is recommended to play the mod on Normal Difficulty for balanced CAI aggression/diplomacy. Battle difficulty should always be set to Normal to maintain the mod's battle balance. Experienced players may enjoy Hard with battles set to Normal.

You must have all Parts of the Mod:
Divide et Impera Steam Collection

If you are experiencing crashes at startup or regularly in game play:
1. Check for other mods activated or just in your data folder. Some mods can be active even without activating them in Mod Manager. DeI does not work with most other mods.
2. Reverify your game cache in steam.
3. If that doesn't work, try deleting your CA Appdata folder and reverifying.
4. Lastly, if none of that works, try deleting and unsubscribing from part 1 and then resubscribing.

An alternative version of the mod can be found at our website[divideetimperamod.com]. The standalone version is quicker to download and usually has less issues.

I got the buildings, maybe it's a save I started with a submod that messed with it, ah well a fresh start usually fixes everything

Jonathan Fallout, there are no plans for it at the moment, we would need to stop working on main mod on focus on that DLC for next 2-3 years to get it to similar shape as Grand Campaign.

Wulf, they are still in the mod. Submods can possibly mess up with mod if they are not up to date. Do you have required buildings constructed?
kam2150  [skaper] 18 timer siden
M/Sgt. Evans, that is a side-effect of us adding more building slots. We might be able to fix it in the future but its a bit more tricky.

Empire divided planned ? it's an amazing DLC and extremly interesting era so I just wanna know if there is a plan or something to work on it

Did you get rid of baggage trains or have I done something weird with mods? Got Roman Legions for DeI mod and it's script fix so is that messing with stuff?

I'm having a strange visual glitch. When I expand a city, sometimes the new sector will get built on top of an existing one. This causes the building and ground textures to flicker. It's driving me crazy! Fantastic mod otherwise.

Note: I'm on a fresh install with only DEI downloaded from the website.

something is off in the imperator augustus campaign, playing as octavian the diplomacy is broken every single faction is already hostile to me including vassals and neutral factions

You can stomp Epirus in under 10 turns. Phalanx untis are some of easiest heavy infantry to beat since they lack manouverability while you can dance around them and bait them into separated engagements. 2 Hastati can rout strongest phalanx in under 10 casualties when used properly.
And considering how many people play it, its not impossible either.

Great mod, but the Greek factions are insanely strong. Trying to fight as Rome vs Epirus is just not possible, they have double the units, plus nearly impossible to reach. Cavalry is hardly effective will fighting a phalanx in the back.

Again, it looks fantastic but it is hardly balanced...
