Rubicon Class Frigate - (FPRN)

With the success of the Damocles Class Destroyer came the demand for even more advanced ships to fill the FPRN's fleets. As part of Project:Phalanx, The Rubicon Class Frigate serves as a midline ship for the new Generation 2 line of warships. Often seen in a picket, patrol, or escort role, these vessels were often paired together or served alongside their larger contemporaries as a sort of coordination vessel. The ship's excellent maneuvering thrust allowed them to keep pace with even the most nimble KI ships, and the firepower the Rubicon wielded allowed it to punch far above it's weight class. Overall, the Rubicon Class quickly solidified itself as the backbone of the FPRN fleet, and was a vital asset to any battlegroup it was deployed in.

This ship was designed for use on the Prototype PVP server! It is fairly survival friendly minus its subgrid turrets. Its armament consists of 4 quad-barreled assault custom turrets, 2 artillery turrets, 2 quad-barreled PDC's, and a static railgun array mounted spinally. The vessel does use scripts, though they are not required for its operation. She has excellent upwards and sideways thrust, and is capable of flight up to .66G.
