Stomil Olsztyn

In 1992, as a result of the transformation of the state-owned company OZOS "Stomil", the Stomil-Olsztyn company was established. In 1994, the new Kormoran tyre brand is introduced.

In 1995, François Michelin, then Managing Director of the Michelin Group[in other languages] and the Minister of Privatization Wiesław Kaczmarek signed a privatization agreement, under which Michelin became the majority shareholder of Stomil Olsztyn. In 2001, the factory began producing passenger and truck tyres under the Michelin brand
