[RWI] Archimedes - Science Ship

The Archimedes is the initial main ship featured in Space Engineers: Frontier, the new RP YouTube series. A big thank you to Thunder, who took inspiration from our RWI Discovery science cruiser. The design inspiration comes from Star Trek’s Nova-class (USS Equinox). The size of the Archimedes made her a perfect choice for the setting of the Frontier series.

The ship may work in survival, but has been designed to function in a cinematic RP series. Don’t expect it to properly function in normal Space Engineers Survival scenarios. A complete mod list can be found on the Required Items part of this Steam page.

The Archimedes was a starship active within the Redwood Science Fleet following the Green Drone War and the Joint Alliance Conflict. The Archimedes was launched following the Green Drone War as a smaller science ship than the likes of the Discovery and Challenger.

Before being placed under the command of Admiral Jack Roberts, the ship was conducting routine science missions as well as investigating tech left over from previous conflicts.

While under the command of Admiral Roberts for a CLASSIFIED mission, the Archimedes vanished without a trace. The RWI Odyssey was dispatched to investigate, but no trace of the ship was found. As such, the Archimedes is currently considered Mission In Action, along with her crew compliment. The ships disappearance is being investigated by High Command.
