About
Have you ever get hyped by how awesome THIGAPPE is, then proceed to download a lot of apparel mods only to get disappointed that those new and awesome dresses are rendering like a jumpsuit? "WAIT, EVEN THE VANILLA TRIBAL APPAREL IS RENDERING LIKE A JUMPSUIT???" Well, me too.

This mod's objective is to change the type of masks being used to render some apparel (both modded and vanilla) to make them look as intended: dresses rendering with the Shell mask and suits rendering with the OnSkinFullBody mask. I've also added some apparels on the No Masking list due to they looking better that way.

Please do tell me in the comments, specially if you have some xml patches of your own that you want to be implemented. I want this mod to be useful to as many people as possible, and the best way to achieve that is through feedback. I've only added support for mods that I noticed problems, but I probably let something pass in there. Any suggestions are welcomed.

What's the sauce for the background?

Any chance of a patch for Pawnmorpher? Granted, it's a race patch, but the second a pawn is deemed "no longer human" rendering for outfits stops functioning as-intended, because the "morph" races (Catmorph, Pigmorph, Sheepmorph, etc) are unsupported custom races. In the case you are unable to patch something as complex as a race mod of that caliber, maybe Simple Kimonos?

So that's the reason the tribal wear was rendering like that. I've never noticed you can't wear pants with it lol. It makes no real world sense, but that's just how game logic runs sometimes.

Such a lovely addition to the APP community! Your XML looks solid, too!

Fun fact, leaving tribalwear to render as a bodysuit was an intentional choice. Since it can't be worn alongside pants as the game considers both to cover the legs, I felt some built-in legwear rendering was appropriate. That said, I definitely see the appeal of the alternative masking!

@NoOne_ReaVen it is certainly possible, yes, but you would need to heavily patch THIGAPPE since you would be working against everything that mod does. It would probably be less work to make your own version of THIGAPPE instead though.

Is there a way to make something like this but it works in reverse with Vanilla shaped bodies, so that Race Mod appearal can be worn by normal un modded colonists?
