also maybe more add-ons will be nice or more variety
Not sure how difficult such a thing would be, or if its out of the scope of your mods entirely but it would be really cool to see.
One feature request I would like to see (if you haven't already started working on it) would be for the "Wilderness Origin" hivemind to get specific interactions, both with the blockers as well as the UI and the custom fluff text associated with it.
I think it would be really cool to see a visual change of the UI elements to signify the amalgamated intelligence's take over of the world it is terraforming. Maybe as the colony advances in tier the UI will grow more and more 'leafy'/plant-like to signify the ongoing assimilation of the local biosphere.
1 click popout > doomscrolling until the sun burns out. In fact I think the entire extra planet tab that was added was a mistake. Do we really need to cycle through THREE tabs to deal with planetary development? Two was sketchy enough as is in 3.14, three is obviously just a result of their stubborness in not updating to a modern UI that is not so tiny they have to keep tabbing out new ones just so all the content can fit.
Just to let you all know my general game-plan:
I likely will make a sequel "Planet View 2" edition of this mod for 4.x. But it won't be for a while because:
1. 4.0 is in a very broken state right now, I expect at least a month of two of PDX hotfixes and other updates. I don't want to work on the sequel only have things about the UI break again because of the turbulence.
2. It's just gonna be a lot of work, this original edition of the mod took a couple of months all on it's own.
Also I'd just like to say that this mod, exactly as is, working perfectly with 3.14, will always be here. So people that don't want to play with 4.x mechanics always can. I'm going to release the sequel on a new workshop page. It'll have it's own screenshots, etc. You can "follow" me as an author to know for sure when it releases.
Thanks, all!
