T3 Captains at stations

Description
Updated for version 2.5.7, no changes were necessary.
This mod does the following:

All captains you can find at stations are now T3
Chance to find a captain at a station increased from 35% to 100%
Guaranteed 4 positive perks per captain, up from 2 - 4
Guaranteed 2 neutral perks per captain, up from 1 - 2

This file is save-safe both ways (safe to install in existing games, and safe to uninstall the mod in existing galaxies while keeping your captains), as these stats are obtainable in the vanilla game as well.

Updated the file to work with Avorion 2.5.7, indeed no changes were necessary. Thanks for the notification rrfarmer. :steamthumbsup:

Thank you for notifying me. I have updated the mod to work with version 2.5.5, no changes were necessary as you said. I'd prefer to keep up version numbers rather than assuming it'll work with "2.X", in case there's another captain overhaul coming up. I'd hate to break people's saves!

you need to update the version, you need 2.5.5, but in general you would put 2.x and the idea would work until avorion would have version 3.x

Hey, sorry about that. The mod has been updated to be compatible with 2.5.2. No changes were necessary aside from the version number change due to the 2.5.x patches not altering the captain code.

Would be cool if this could be updated for the newest version to work on servers. Finding the captain you need through the missions is so bad sometimes.

I just answered my own question (previous reply). Yes, the mod that guarantees (100%) of captains at all stations mod (T0 - T2) will interfere with this mod. And yes, the Hire Crew option does not appear until you are in your ship. You don't need to be docked. It will not appear if you are in your drone.
