Hank is regarded as the well-meaning, hard-working, traditional American. Everybody looks to Hank when they have any seemingly useless, or dull work that needs to be done as Hank is well known for doing a job right/perfectly. He is incredibly loyal, honest, hard-working, accepting, and believes in giving second chances. However, some of Hank's downsides are that he can be relatively naive and gullible, pushes people to believe what he believes, short tempered, controlling, emotionally distant, stubborn, and quick to judge. While he is willing to help others during situations, he tends to keep himself emotionally distant as he is continually shown to struggle expressing his emotions.

Now, Hank can notice the slightest gas release in a propane tank but Bobby and other people has worn down his edges over time having to deal with their shenanigans almost everyday.

Character Behavior

Hank is a traditional hardworking Texan who has a strong sense of morality, work ethic, and conservative and traditional values.

He has a good heart and will help folks who need helping and respect authority figures such as military but wont do anything that doesn't sit right with him even if an authority figure were to command him to do so.

He is a good dog, reminds him of ladybird.

• Arcade

Hank would get along well with Arcade, their values of a better world align and having a know it all companion is something Hank has gotten used to with his wife Peggy.

• Boone

Hank would appreciate Boone's military background and commitment to protecting others, but he might be critical of his violent and dark nature.

• Cassidy

He respects her strong work ethic and no-nonsense approach to things but he might disapprove of her heavy drinking.

• Veronica

Hank could relate to Veronica's desire for stability and a sense of purpose. However, her affiliation with the Brotherhood of Steel might raise some concerns for Hank, given his skepticism of the organization

• Lily

At first he would be creeped out by her but if he would get to know her he'd feel sympathy for Lily due to her struggle with her mental state but he'd also feel uneasy due to Lily's unpredictable behavior.

Hank may appreciate Raul's mechanical skills and practical mindset. Raul's background as a mechanic and handyman might make him useful and relatable to Hank.

Hank HATES the Legion, he sees a ruthless faction led by a bloodthirsty tyrant and would never want to associate with them.

Hank would appreciate the NCR's democratic values, organizational structure and the goals of spreading the rule of law.

• Boomers

Hank would admire the Boomers' dedication to protecting their territory and the pragmatic approach they take in dealing with threats. However, their isolationist nature would raise some concerns.

A little better than the powder gangers since they are not too violent but Hank does not approve with the chem trade.

Although, he would see them as a bit too "heavy-handed" in their approach, and their reluctance to share technology would not sit well with his community-minded mindset.
