Gordon Class Bulk Cargo Ship - Elite Dangerous Mega Ship

The Gordon-class Hauler is a class of Bulk Cargo Ship from Elite Dangerous. This is a functional scaled model of the event ship brought to Space engineers. I have a larger ship planed that more closely mimics the ship from the game but having it loaded into a world raised the temperature of my room by several degrees C.

The Ship consists of two long struts containing cargo containers, mounted at 45º to each other, both backed by an engineering module and single-engine drive module, with a comm tower on the starboard drive module. The engineering modules also feature a combined jump array I refer to as a Class 8-C Frame Shift Drive, paired with an infinite speed mod, the gravity drives can mimic super cruse with minimal fuel and energy consumption.

Because the event ship in Elite Dangerous spawns with a sizable escort fleet, I have deemed this ship to not need its own defenses instead opting to go a much more defensive route. The engineering modules come covered in a thick layer of heavy armor, the convener lines are redundant, and the ship has equipped with two stealth drives offering back to back, 630 seconds of complete invisibility. Given the amount of heat the stealth drives put out the entire ship is covered in heat vents and heat sinks.

Its current Cargo capacity is around 1.16 Billion liters. Primarily used for hauling ore and ingots across star systems.
