This mod is a submod for Red World ( https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2166453693 ), primarily depicting a world where the Soviet Union won the Cold War. All credit goes to the late original author of Red World, Kaiser1871.

Features: Compared to original Red World, this mod introduces a GDP system and updates the national content for China, Japan, Vietnam, Yugoslavia, Benin, France, Poland, and the Netherlands. It also adds some flavor events and partial framework content for Korea.

Historical Setting:

•Soviet Union: In the Cold War history of Red World, there was no de-Stalinization after Stalin's death (though this does not mean the Soviet Union was a Stalinist regime). The Soviet Union did not focus on military matters, and events such as the Prague Spring and the suppression of Poland and Hungary did not occur. Malenkov became Stalin's successor and revitalized the Soviet economy and technology during his tenure, maintaining stability through a policy of authoritarianism combined with welfare. After Malenkov's death in 1988, Grigori Romanov took power, and the Soviet Union began to decline. By the start of the game, the Yazov-led government faced numerous problems.

•Europe: Eastern European countries maintained political and military stability during the Cold War history of Red World. The Hungarian reforms succeeded after the Cold War ended. In the mid-1980s, Western European countries turned to communism amid economic crises. The Communist Party of Germany(West Germany) and the Communist Party of Austria were elected as the ruling parties in their respective countries in the 1980s, and subsequently, West Germany and Austria were integrated into the DDR. The Italian Communist Party cooperated with the Christian Democratic Party and gradually transitioned to a communist state. The Communist Party of the Netherlands formed a moderate communist government after being elected, with opposition parties and non-government-controlled Unions retained, and cooperation mechanisms with the parties established. These two countries became the wealthiest and most moderate communist countries in the Warsaw Pact. The French Communist Party integrated the Socialist Party and became the sole ruling party in France. However, due to radical nationalization and economic mismanagement, the French economy lagged far behind its Western European allies. Despite the replacement of the tyrant Maxim Grémetz by the more moderate Jean-Luc Mélenchon, France still experienced the largest-scale unrest in the Warsaw Pact. In Belgium, after two failed coups in 1985 and 1986, government turned towards the most brutal direction in Western Europe, and the newly formed European Union of Socialist Republics was seen as a symbol of European unity and the elimination of Soviet influence.

•North America: Facing the rise of communists internally and economic problems, Reagan dissolved the United States of America to allow the 50 states to become independent and maintain the last dignity of democracy. However, power-hungry individuals and idealists defied Reagan's orders: George H.W. Bush and his nationalist followers declared the establishment of the American Republic in Atlanta and claimed to be the legitimate successor of the United States. In the same year, the People's Commonwealth was founded, and the Great Lakes states established the Great Lakes Confederation in 1994, which later changed to a republic after the 21st century. Canada successfully controlled Alaska and became the last bastion of democracy; the democratic government in Montana was overthrown by fascists, and the western part of the Montana Republic was occupied by the Lincoln League, established by the racist Richard Spencer, making Montana a new drug center.

•Latin America: The Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI) in Mexico's decision to invade Texas to save its approval ratings ultimately failed, leading to the PRI's decline. However, Mexico escaped its historical fate and became a country with economic stability and few drug problems. Daniel Ortega of Nicaragua led the unification of Central America. After the independence of French Guiana and the communist revolutions in Guyana and Suriname, these three countries united to form the Union of Guyana. Many South American countries turned to socialism in different directions, but the fates of these regimes were often short-lived: the socialist governments of Argentina, Peru, and Uruguay were eventually overthrown; Chile's Pinochet launched a coup, which led to a multi-country invasion and a return to socialism; Paraguay faced its first nationwide free elections in 2010 at the start of the game.

•East Asia: In East Asia, Kim Il-Sung successfully unified the Korean Peninsula in 1952, and the DPRK economy never collapsed by the start of the game. After the dissolution of the United States, the Taiwan authorities took over the U.S. Pacific Fleet, and the Chiang Kai-Shek dynasty maintained its rule in Taipei. Japan became the most powerful country in the capitalist world. In China, which broke with the Soviet Union, the Cultural Revolution was only forcibly terminated in 2007, and the impact of famine and collapse still plagued this ancient country. In Southeast Asia, the communists on Kalimantan gained independence; Vietnam implemented reform policies; Heng Samrin's Cambodian People's Republic maintained its existence and gradually broke away from Vietnamese influence, joining the Conference of New Emerging Forces founded by the Chinese and Indonesians.

•Middle East: Turkey's intervention in Cyprus failed, and the Kurds gained independence from Turkey. After the decline of U.S. influence, due to external pressure, the Jews agreed to sign an agreement with the Arabs to establish the Palestinian Confederation, which gradually became a beacon of democracy in the Middle East after the 21st century. The United Arab Emirates turned to communism, and the United Arab Republic never disintegrated; Venezuela controlled the Antilles after the Bolivarian Revolution.

Main differences from the Red World Fan Fork setting:

•The border between Benin and Nigeria remains the old Red World border, i.e., the Niger River as the boundary, and the Economic Community of West African States does not exist due to the Nigeria-Benin conflict.
•French leader Mélenchon's ideology is moderate socialism, different from the communism in Red World.
•Polish moderate socialist leader Miller now belongs to the United Workers' Party.
•Wan E'xiang remains in the Communist Party of China instead of independently forming a Maoist party.

The " development team " is one person who probably has a life who doesn't spend every other second of their life mod developing. Try moving yourself and see where it takes you.

Lack of content, Updates take too long, Lazy development team and overall was not a good experience. Got boring after a short while. I'd rather play Millenium Dawn than this crap.
