Description
Supports Stellaris 3.**.* (Vanilla) / NSC / ACOT

IMPORTANT
Do NOT use Vengeance Sections Epanded AND Kurosetions Expanded (KSE) in the same playset!
This will lead to overleaps and cause unwanted side effects!

Info for NEW subscribers of VENGEANCE

The VENGEANCE ships don't have any turrets.

There are no icons for ship sections other than the core-sections as VENGEANCE works different than other NSC compatible ship sets. The models are not cut into pieces to display the section icons.

- NSC 2 (optional)
- VENGEANCE
- VENGEANCE SECTIONS EXPANDED (VSE)
- Extra Ship Components NEXT (optional)
- ESC NEXT: Overwrites Component Progression (optional)
- ESC NEXT: Overwrites Global Ship Designes (optional)
- UI-Overhaul Dynamic (mandatory for Starbase Extentded 3.0 and NSC users)
- Starbase Extended 3.0




- VSE is Save Game friendly. Check your ship designer to make adjustments after loading a save.

Q:
I don’t see the VSE sections in the ship-designer sections screen. Is this a bug?

A:
No. You have a scrollbar on the right side of the screen. Use it.

Q:
The new sections seem to be overpowered. Do they make any sense?

A:
At the first glance the my look like to be totally OP but the costs to build the ships and to maintain them will break the neck of you economy if you overdo it.
Not to forget that the AI will use certain weapons like the Reaper guns, certain sections, build Ironclads and the modified Juggernauts.

Q:
Does it contain any new ship models?

A:
Yes. 4 of them. For the Frigate-, Ironclad-, Conquistador- and ATT shipclasses.

I will check how much work is required to implement an options menu but no promises.

I need to check how much my other mods are affected by the 4.0 version and what I need to adjust first.

I assume you understand that the above has priority 1 before implementing a new feature.

But i don't get it, u say it would break balancing, but u say to can go edit it anyway to remove reaper guns? i mean its just a basic optional toggle for those that want it obviously dictated by the host and agreed on.
no real reason to not add it. unless you don't feel like adding onto it.
but then again its entirely up to you, just figured since you shared the mod for the community you might like to add that for others to use if they wish.
but again its up to you its an interesting mod i found the mixes for space stations n stuff quite good.
Mods like gigastructures add toggles like this quite alot but id never ask that much work.
can make it as broken as u want.

They work as you are used to frome the designable ships in the ship designer. Means that you get a fully designable ATT at the very start of the game and you get more advanced sections depending on the ship tech you research.

One thing. I've never tested it if it works in an ongoing game. It should but I really don't know if it is retroactive.

How do the troop transport sections work? I am currently in the middle of a playthrough rn but this looks really cool and if they actually function as transports for armies like the vanilla ones then I would definitely consider just starting a new playthrough to use this awesome mod as unarmed military transports have always been a massive pet peeve of mine.

Sorry but no. This will cause serious balancing issues. You can disable the Reaper guns by editing the files. See my post below.

Furthermore I'm still in hospital and have no access to my dev-files. Hope to be back on deck in a week or so if the docs allow me to return home.

i basically dropped the range a bit and got rid of the armor pen,

yes, the problem was i couldn't kill a ai fleet mounting them exclusively on battleships, with like five time there number, so i just nerfed it so i can avoid any issues with removing a weapon mid playthrough.
