Description
Suburban Road Network Pack

Roadway Suburbia
"Suburbia" is an extension of Roadway project, which aims to deliver a consistent pack of North American suburban roads with an authentic look. These networks are based on their counterparts, mainly in Los Angeles area, in terms of width and other features. Each road comes with custom pavement texture, custom road crossings, drainage system that can be customized or toggled with TMPE. Networks are also taking advantage of Adaptive Networks, and they offer visual customizations in terms of curb type, crossing type, ability to disable props and so on.

Network Information
Networks vary based on road, pavement grass width and locations. Package contains the following:

Network Features
- Theme dependent asphalt for roads, with minimal wear & tear.
- Customizable curb type: Standard, no-parking (red), Drainage holes, Concrete
- Customizable drain canal with TMPE (hold Alt)

Props
- All roads come with minimal set of props; these include:
- Traffic lights and speed signage,
- Custom manholes made for this pack,
- Streetlights from base game, that can be changed with BOB or NS2.
- You can further customize your roads by manually placing drive-in/way decals from Suburbia Prop Pack, which have matching textures with the road sidewalks.

Dependencies
- Adaptive Networks; to customize road, crossing style and props
- TMPE and Hide TM:PE Unconnected Tracks; for drainage
- BIG URBAN & US DOT signs for speed signage and traffic lights
- Suburbia Props for compatible drive-in, drive-way decals and manholes.

Elevation
All Suburban roads are basic/ground only networks. A separate bridge pack will be released after the publishing of all suburban types are done. (Similar to R2 network system). Until then, you can use other ROADWAY bridges.

Compatibility
Networks are compatible with most of the networks out on WS; I personally checked with vanilla and BIG URBAN roads and haven't noticed any irregularities.

Texture & Material Share
All roads share identical texture and materials in order to optimize RAM use.

How to Find in-game
Located in road networks menu, alternatively you can look: "RDWY Suburbia 12-0m #3" or "r9-"

I hope you find a work around someday to get the toggles working.

I'm actually not sure. Back when these were published everything worked perfectly fine, but when I tried using them recently, a lot of the AN options simply didn't work and I have no idea why.

Wish I could help, but I'm not up to date with whatever other mods are doing whilst breaking assets like this.
The Sidewalks seem to be clipping when i enable some of the AN Toggleable features on the crossings, why is this?

They are on the to-do spreadsheet, but Rev0 doesn't wanna work on them :VGRUMPY:

Hey @REVO, do you still plan to make inner city roads like these?

I love this mod to create suburbs and neighborhoods, so I hope the author comes back and hopefully update it to the newest version of the game! :)

oh ok

Z fighting is not caused by the assets, but by the AN mod which wrongly renders all the elements at the same time. There's nothing that WE can do about it.

do you have any plans to fix all the zig fighting

Just a heads up...when a tram road is the main road and already placed, you can add these as cross streets without issue...works correctly. However, if you have drawn the main tram road and added these as cross streets at the end of the tram road, you cannot continue to add to the tram road.

Here's a screenshot showing what I'm talking about. The cross streets you see in the middle of the tram road were added to the middle of the existing tram road. The ones at the end were added at the end, but then it won't allow me to continue with any type of tram road.

I've tested this with several types of roads and this collection is the only one that triggers this.
