Lizardmen Update 19/23 Factions

What is this?
Dismemberment Overhaul is a mod project where I will try to add blood and gore to many units that didn't have it in the vanilla game! Such as Horses, Ogre, Dragon, Construct, Demigryphs and even Giants!

For more description on specific factions please click on their picture!

  • Purely cosmetic and have no effect on the gameplay whatsoever.
  • This mod uses custom limb stump assets and added via unit's VMD file which means it's a reskin of some sort so it's not compatible with reskins mod on affected units unless there is a patch made for it.
  • Also have battle_entities files which needed to enable dismemberment for units.
  • So as an unfortunate side effect, It's currently NOT SFO compatible, Because of battle_entities(units speed, mass) being Vanilla file.
  • Can be use and uninstall at any time during an ongoing Campaign + Save.
  • You're FREE to use this mod and every files in it to make a patch for your mod.
  • You're FREE every files+assets in this mod for your mod.. whatever it maybe is.
  • If you made your own patch please notify me so I can add it to the patch collection.

@Armorchin Hi man, thanks a lot for the great mod. Everything seems to be working fine, but I noticed 2 issues (which could ofc be load order so I hope you can chime in):

- Steeds on the Campaign map usually have fleshy bits showing around the areas that have added dismemberment. So horse for example have fleshy blobs sticking out at the neck and the torso.
- Generic Tomb King lords have no head in the 3D porthole view, during battle and the model itself it is fine and they have a head.

Are these known issues and is there anything I have overlooked?

@Armorchin I'm a little confused by load order, this is set so that almost any reskin should overwrite it rather than the other way around right?

@Goldenhelm_Studios Yeah, It's compatible, No files conflicted, works perfectly.

Is this at all compatible with Matched Combat?
Armorchin  [author] May 6 @ 8:25pm
@Batariel Nah, only affect vanilla units.

Compatible but won't affect modded unit unless there is a patch made just for them.

Does this mod work with mods that add new units ?
Armorchin  [author] May 4 @ 7:33am
@Tig_Basty_Boi Nope, this mod doesn't use any files that affect blood texture/effect at all so put both mod wherever ya like.

this may be a stupid question but if using a blood mod alongside this, does the load order matter at all?
