Description
KJW's Radiate allows for players to add realistic radiological threats to their missions in a fun, but fair, manner. To use the mod, simply use 3den attributes on an object and select the threat desired. There is no way to stop the radioactive source beyond securing it inside of a shielded container -- typically this will be a vehicle, though feel free to cover your objects in traffic cones to escape the spicy particles. Contact DLC is NOT required, however is heavily recommended for both CBRN mission assets and NBC suits.

Features:
  • Geiger counter item! The days of your player magically having a Geiger Counter built into their body are over, you must choose between telling the time and telling how close you are to death!
  • Multiple radiation types! Most radiation is completely harmless to you, but getting close to Alpha and Beta is a sure way to start putting your health at risk.
  • Irradiation! Touch a radioactive source without proper PPE? Oh no, time to go to the decon shower! Inhale a dusty source, take your drugs!
  • Decon showers! Contact DLC decontamination showers will now decontaminate your irradiated skin!
  • Slow torture until your demise! This mod does not outright kill players, but instead uses ACE Medical features
    as well as KJW's Medical Expansion: Core features in order to slowly make you less effective!
  • Background radiation! Just like real life, this mod features background radiation that is harmless. You would need to spend several months without dying on the same Arma server to have any effects even begin.
  • AI Compatible! This mod will now have NO difference between units and AI!

Compatibility files are loaded automatically based off what mods are loaded currently in ME:C. Read the documentation for PPE for what mods are currently supported by default. PRs welcome for your mods.

Repair your mod. This was updated over a week ago after ACE update broke it

Hi, having some issues where a debug menu is constantly on which removes most of the 'Escape > Configure' options and any ACE interaction. Errors messages also consistently show.

This mod has been broken by KAT Medical. They arbitrarily removed a piece of third party interface to ACE, thus breaking three of my mods, as well as the unit mods of two units I am in. I have submitted a pull request for this to be fixed. Please do not report anything further about KAT Medical to me, it must be sent to the KAT team.
