Description
TERRAINS

Farabad
Focussed around the capital city of Al-Jatar, A nation on the Persian Gulf. This semi-mountainous region rich in natural resources is home to many mines and oil fields. However these resources have left instability and conflict in the region for decades. Thunder run through the wide open valleys around the Jazira oil fields, traverse a rocky mountain pass, or move deep into the dense alleyways and streets of Farabad, a huge city at the center of the province.

Size: 115km2
Biome: Arid / Coastal
Topography: Mountainous

Isla Pera
This tropical island paradise off the coast of South America used to be a prime destination for tourists, with long sandy beaches, palm trees and crystal blue waters. But since the closing down and abandonment of the main resort, the islands have become a hotbed for cartels and illegal logging. Travel by boat through the mangrove swamps to attack cartel outposts on the banks of the rivers, explore the dense jungle to find tribal camps, visit old colonial towns and villages, or grab a go cart and race around the abandoned resorts old go kart track.

Size: 105km2
Biome: Tropical Islands
Topography: Low lying

Fjord
As the arctic melts, the fortunes laying under the ice have led to a dramatic increase of militarization in the High North. With NATO distracted in confrontation with CSAT, Russian Spetsnaz units have launched daring raids into northern Norway, targetting key energy infratructure.

Experience a beautiful winter wonderland full of sharp mountain peaks, deep fjords, vast boreal forests, and quaint fishing villages. With dozens of custom objects, sounds, and textures to create one of the most unique environments in ArmA 3.

Biome: Arctic
Topography: Mountainous

ABOUT
Global Operations Terrains aims to bring an assortment of new terrains to ArmA 3 that allows players to experience a wide variety of environments from around the world, in one pack. With a focus on small but detailed terrains, aiming for variety over scale.

Along side the terrains themselves, the pack includes custom assets, adding new buildings, trees, and other structures to the game.

This project is still a work in progress, expect there to be updates every couple of months, which may include new terrains, expansions to current terrains, new assets, and new locations.

Constructive feedback is welcome, let me know what you want to see added in the future :))

Surrounding the city and to the south might be more but those ones were bad. Want to say thank you. You're map pack is simply amazing I'd pay $10 for this if it was dlc. Keep it up.you deserve a job at this respect

please clean up farabad it's great. The few floating barriers and the AI driving off bridges is the only thing holding it back.

Hey bud! just had a look at the last update for farabad.Awesome stuff.Thanks!! I think you need to edit/make your own runway marker pieces that dont disappear with the roads.Like you did with the runway/taxiway side pieces.Last time i looked at this thos sand coloured runway side edge pieces were disappearing with the roads.The same trick needs to be done with therunway decals iiho.Did you change class for runway edges from roads to house? Need to check the lighting under headlights at night is working correctly.If not you might need to change shaders.
