Easy to use pad printer. Designed for printing small grids, however, if the arm is changed it can also print large grids. Easy to expand.
Please note: In-game scripts must be enabled for proper work.

How to use: In progress

1. Find the control panel, it will retract automatically while you're close
2. Turn on Projectors and upload desired blueprints into them
3. Using available buttons select Projection -> Projection Selection -> Previous or Next Projection
4. Press K -> Remote Access -> Remote Control - Projection -> Control
5. Using mouse input, WSAD, C, SPACE, align the projection
6. Press F
7. Select Welders -> Start Welding

Survival
After assembling in survival mode minimal configuration is needed:

Buttons:
Run Programmable Block - GUI with argument:
- up - for top left button
- down - for bottom left button
- enter - for green button
- esc - for red button
- Piston Control Panel - Reverse - for the button on the top of the control panel
- 1. Piston Control Panel - Extend 2. Piston Control Panel - Retract - for Sensor

Add the following blocks to the "Hardware" group:
- Text Panel - GUI
- Programmable Block - GUI, Programmable Block
- # Remote Control - Control Panel

Screens
Recompile Programmable Block - GUI, Programmable Block - Projector, and Programmable Block - Easy Automation

Run Programmable Block - Easy Automation with Debug LCD(Speed) argument.

Interface control
Take control over # Remote Control - Control Panel and add Run Programmable Block - GUI with argument cc

Voila!

I know this is a couple years old build but its quite nice. I added a 3rd projector to rebuild the used up merge block half (but I suppose I could use the 2nd projector that's built in.
Either cameras or a control seat would help with having a nice view when trying to position a blueprint projection before printing. Maybe add a camera somewhere on the back side of the control panel or the projection arm if there's room?
Having menu options for rotating the projection arm clear of the print (or having it automatic) would be a nice add-on.

I'm having an issue with recompiling the code on the programmable blocks. The two lower LCDs remain blank after recompiling, and the Easy Automation PB gives me the following error: "The code sorce "Debug LCD" does not contain a code block named "Speed."

@k. rogue I added instructions step by step in the new discussion over here: https://steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/discussion/2886804522/3710432845024438577/ (couldn't fit that in the comment)

Great mod! What do I need to change to add more pistons for the projector arm?

Nevermind, after dismantling and rebuilding the control box it suddenly fits just fine and all works as advertised. I'm chalking it up to Havok jank. For posterity, I built the entire piston+Rotor+Control separately since building it as a unit didn't work, dropped it in the slot but it wouldn't slide in until the control box was dismantled. Welded the piston to the original pad using the Weld Pad mod, then rebuilt the control box and connected the sensor to the piston.
10/10 pad now that I have it working!

Hey I'm having a little difficulty getting this to work right, it seems that the control assembly and the welders/armor around it are colliding, preventing the piston from actually moving more than a few inches and preventing one of the welders from being built. I am in survival, though I use the multigrid projection plugin for building. Is this the fault of the plugin or did I simply weld this all up incorrectly?
Beautiful pad, by the by.

thanks for your time and try to help me. i guess im doing something wrong at the basics... even when i use the "pad printer" blueprint in creative mode in a complete new session/game - i neither get the console block nor the piston with the projector.

The easiest way would be to use a mod as such: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2348106533

or make a blueprint of the control panel and the holding arm, print it in survival and attach using some kind of lift or another maintenance vehicle

it's my first time to try/use a blueprint in survival. and im doing something wrong. if i build the pad prinert i dont get the console block nor the piston with the projector. i think this is something about subgrids? how can i get these parts of the pad printer?
