welcome to this mod page.

Formal information
Please make sure to read the following mod description and the informations below before you ask questions or request updates etc.

Please only ask for updates, when the mod is not working anymore or causing issues - not every game update requires a mod update!

Description
This mod is based on the idea of Matt Carmack's "Order of Solland", a Teutonic Order themed army book, and my personal interesst in the historic Teutonic Order.
If you want to read further about the army book check out the credits section for a link.
The content added by this mod is not part of the Warhammer-lore and aside from some historic references completly fictional.

What does this mod do?
This mod transforms the vanilla faction of Ostland into the custom faction of the Order of Solland and make it playable on the Immortal Empire map.

Solland has access to a completly new roster of faction exclusive units and buildings as well as three new legendary lords, one legendary hero and a few new custom generic agents.
The lords all have a few custom skills and items with new effects/abilities.
Also implemented are three new magic lores: the "Lore of Terror", the "Lore of Shadows and Beasts" and the "lore of Death and Beasts".
The units are all set in the Medieval time and are coloured by Medieval 2 Total War vibes, as well as this whole mod. Like Ritterbrüder (Knights Brothers), Schwertbrüder (Swordbrothers), Pavise Arabalists (Crossbowmen) and many more.
Some of the unit names are in German because these are "ranks" within the historic Order.
There is also a reworked tech tree, nothing special but more immersive

In general I suggest you have a look for yourself as there is lots of content added and the units have many "mechanics" and "synergies" that are by far to much to all tell them here.

With this mod activated both campaigns (Immortal Empires AND Rise of Chaos) are edited BUT only IE is further edited. That includes player and AI in singleplayer and multiplayer.

Important stuff
The Order is designed to be unique! Other factions will not get access to the roster of Solland!

This mod is not compatible with "Order of Solland - Units/MP-Faction" as it adds the same content!

Mod is not (or might not be) compatible with other mods that change stuff for vanilla Ostland.

This mod is created and tested with the vanilla game.
-> I don't plan to add support for game overhauls!

The Ritterbrüder cavalry with lances is ONLY available via the warband upgrade in the campaign, no building recruitment.

Linked required mods are REQUIRED if you want to play with Solland in the campaign!

Be informed that after every major game update Mixu's Unlocker has also be updated.
During that period of time this mod might not work or not work as intended!

Submods & Translation
Personally I will NOT create any submods as my focus lies on my own projects.
So let me state it as clear as possible: as long as you keep this mod as requirement you are allowed to do nearly anything - of course nothing against the EULA....after you're done you can send me the link and I will put it in the discussion page.

Please have in mind that the units are set exclusive by choice, respect that and don't give them to other factions.
In any case it is recommend to inform me first before you do anything - its not just more polite but there might be things I already have on my own list of improvements.

Good luck with that.
Behaviour is bound to the culuters so if you want a horde faction you have to overwrite a faction from a horde culture/ subculture OR ask Robi to create an entirely new one.
