Description
This is a startpos mod that makes all factions in Realms of Chaos and Immortal Empires campaigns playable.
This mod also adds some modder utilities like ability to increase number of building slots, additional hero categories and other things that require startpos modding.

"You still need to buy the DLC if you wish to play with DLC factions"
No, seriously, this mod does not give you free DLCs.
If you actually wanna know what this mod does, skip to "What's included".
I'm tired of seeing this asked.
I'm tired of having to explain this simple thing.
I'm tired of people not reading the mod descriptions.
I'm tired, boss.

MCT Requirement:
The newest version of MCT is recommended to be used with this mod.
It will work without it, but your save files will be bigger.
Don't use MCT if you plan on playing multiplayer, unless Groovy makes mct work in multiplayer at some point and I forget to update this blurb.

What's included:

With this mod there are now 458 playable lords in IE and 141 playable lords in RoC.
Some of those factions require other mods before they can be played.

It also provides a framework for other modders to use stuff like new agent types for existing factions and unique building slot templates for landmark mods.

This mod edits the max number of available building slots, so that it's compatible with mods that increase the number of building slots. Major settlements have a max of 20 and minors a max of 8.
This mod itself shouldn't increase any available slots, you will need other mods for that.

Compatibility:
This mod edits startpos and isn't compatible with other startpos mods.
This mod edits some vanilla scripts, like monster hunt script and some narrative script stuff, it's to make all factions actually playable without script errors.
This does mean that some other mods may conflict if they edit these same script files.

"You do actually genuinely need to buy the goshdarn DLCs if you wish to play factions that are behind a DLC or Warhammer 2 or Warhammer 1"

Anyone who thinks this mod gives out free factions are already outing themselves they don't read descriptions and are easily fooled by clickbaits

To be precise, you need a paid way to access at least one of the major factions of a specific race, so you can use the mod to unlock the minor factions of that race.
If you want to play a beastmen minor faction - you need to have bought access to them (via the Taurox DLC, or the original BM DLC). Etc for all the other races.

so, do I still need every single dlc since twwh1?

joke aside, this mods something special for sure. well done.

He put that sentence specifically because people keep asking about it. Are you misreading it?

"You do need to buy the DLCs if you wish to play factions that require DLCs", puts this entire sentence as the name of the mod then gets mad when people keep thinking they dont need to buy dlcs to play dlc factions lol
Polyamide Knight Nov 8 @ 11:28am
Brother. Don't get mad. Majority of ppl are stupid. It is what it is. If you ppl seriously think you can get DLC lords for free with this mod, you are stupid. Logic is abstraction for you. So shut up and wise up.
glospey Nov 8 @ 8:11am
Because it unlocks otherwise unplayable factions.
Elitewrecker PT Nov 8 @ 6:47am
Except if it did, it obviously would't be in the STEAM workshop.
dylob Nov 8 @ 5:26am
because when you name something "unlocker" it implies it unlocks paid dlcs.

i love how this mod is titled that way when its obvious, how come others think this mod will actually let you play paid factions? lmao though, there were some few bugs whenever a new faction is live (like in the previous chorf release, ghort the cruel was playable but i cannot build nor recruit because its a dlc, but was fixed after a week)
