Terror from the Void (TFTV) OPEN BETA

Terror from the Void is an overhaul mod for Phoenix Point. If you think "Long War" you are right.

REQUIRES ALL DLC

DO NOT USE BETTER ENEMIES OR BETTER VEHICLES AS BOTH ARE ALREADY INTEGRATED IN THE MOD.

This is an Open Beta/Early Access. Expect bugs and balance issues. More below.

Features

- Greatly enchances Lovecraft/Horror theme
- Story rework, texts rewritten, new characters, new dialogue choices, new rewards
- Oneiric Delirium is back
- Dark Events (called Void Omens in the mod)
- New threats, enemies, bosses and tactical modifiers
- Complete Class overhaul and rebalance (Better Classes 2.0 are part of this mod)
- Items, weapons and Skills rebalance (also part of Better Classes)
- Major rework of almost every DLC
- You can choose your starting team (see mod config)
- Highly configurable. If you don't like something you can turn it off.
- Legend Difficulty worthy of its name

OPEN BETA

The Beta is feature complete for version 1.0 of the development. But some features are still unfinished because we are not certain which direction to take them. As such we really need your feedback about everything.

Take note, that this mod changes the game A LOT and we expect you to play one difficulty level below your preferred setting as you learn the ropes. If you play LEGEND do not complain the game is too difficult or unfair.

WARNING

TftV is NOT COMPATIBLE with any 3rd party mods that modify or meddle with:
- Skills and everything related to your soldier classes
- UI, especially personel screen and geoscape objectives
- Research
- Aircraft cost, seats and everything related
- DLCs (in any way)

TLDR: Any mods besides cosmetics are highly likely to cause problems.

For defense Hazard Protection Vest (reduces effect of Fire and Blast dmg by half), Electric reinforcement (Technician lvl. 3) or Hunker Down (Heavy lvl. 3) comes to mind.
Otherwise identify grenade wielders by proper scouting and strike first.

Hi gang! I wrote a few guides for the basegame, and currently I'm playing through this mod to see what advice to give in this strange new world you've made! Enjoying it so far, even if there are a few things I'd be happier without (y'all REALLY do not want us to ally with more than one faction, huh) but by and large it's very nice. I particularly love what you've done with the marketplace, and the weapons they sell there!

How do you counter enemy grenades? Seemingly they can hurl them halfway across the map with pinpoint accuracy which rather destroys the use of armor against factions that use them commonly(i.e bandits).

@Amanuk In TFTV you don't harvest the exotic materials; you get some when you take control of an Ancient Site. There are 6 sites in total, so the amount is finite.

Hello.
How can I harvest Living Crystal, Orichalcum and Protean Mutane? I have already found and unlocked the Ancient Ruin. I have also built a few Ancient Weapons but I don't know how to continue harvesting the resources.

@Michael yes, you need to face them many times before the Bionic Fortress unlocks

I noticed that after researching all bionic techs, the bionic fortress mission doesn't appear, it says something about having to fight the pure a few more times but after fighting them multiple times it still does not show up, do I need to defend havens a few more times?

Does this mod have the feature of buying aircraft from factions instead of having to steal them
