Since the couple of months, there's a noticeable uptick of downvotes effected on major content of assets getting published on Steam Workshop. Regardless the publishing type, asset type, multiple content creators are hit with multiple downvotes, to a degree that Steam Workshop algorithm is messing up to push assets with no votes straight to front page.

The way these downvotes are issued is unnatural, and it is not related to assets or content creator. As multiple content creators are effected with this scheme, there seems two possibilites:

A. There seems to be multiple individuals downvoting any content they dislike, regardless the creator, origin of the asset, type of the asset and so on. This is unrealistic and illogical.
B. There seems to be multiple content creators downvoting other creators to push their own content to front page, because of a monetary gain or advertisement (patreon advertising and so on).

If option B is an option -which as someone who called out downvote system for 7 years at this point, both on public and to PDX directly- you are not so difficult to find. You are turning this community even more toxic than already is, which will only backfire on you. This is not a threat, but just stating the obvious. Whoever you are, downvoting every single item on Workshop, I recommend you to cease this hostilities, Cities: Skylines community does not deserve this toxic environment.

Every content creator and their content can co-exist, if it is left to users' own initiative to subscribe and use content. A vote manipulation is a foul-play, especially when it's executed on assets that takes hours and weeks to create.

Over the last couple of days, I talked with multiple creators and they all addressed the growing problem of multiple downvotes and their assets being nuked from Steam Workshop. This is why I decided to post this as an announcement on this asset.


Bombardier TRAXX is a modular product platform of mainline diesel-electric and electric locomotives produced by Bombardier Transportation, which was built in both freight and passenger variants. The first version was a dual-voltage AC locomotive built for German railways from the year 2000. Later types included DC versions, as well as quadruple-voltage machines, able to operate on most European electrification schemes: 1.5/3.0 kV DC and 15/25 kV AC. Hectorrail TRAXX2 is from F140 AC2 family. It is capable to operate in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Germany, making it cross-country capable freight train.

Locomotive is made part of TRAXX2 project, completed around last December (TRAXX2 dostos are already on Workshop).

Trailers are made by phresh, which is FALNS type for ore operations.

F140 DC, RENFE variant
Unlike standard AC/DC variant of TRAXX2, RENFE TRAXX2 is a customized version made for the operator RENFE. Changes include additionnal AC unit above the driver's cabin on both sides, change of train identifications (Class 253), extra pair of headlights on top of the canopy.
