THE GLASSES STAY ON allows you to wear glasses underneath gas masks, welding masks, helmets and other items.

If you try to equip/unequip glasses while wearing a mask, you'll automatically unequip the mask first and re-equip it after. I don't know why you'd change glasses while in danger, but make sure it's safe to take off your mask first!

This mod should be compatible with all modded items by default. It is especially useful when using mods that make either glasses or gas masks more useful, such as:
Myopia & Hyperopia Traits
Susceptible

i missed that report, it does seem possible that the mod would cause that issue (short-sighted had no such debuff when the mod was first written), i'll look into it in a couple hours and fix it if necessary

Anyone know if this is working as intended for zombie fade-in? I don't care about foraging but what Szakiricky said below has me at least a little concerned!

Are you sure that's not a different debuff for having obstructive eyewear?

I think a few helmets also give minusses for viewing

Not sure if this bug is exclusive to insurgent, but if you choose to spawn with glasses + insurgent gas mask, you will start with only wearing glasses and you won't spawn with the insurgent gas mask on or in your inventory.

Hey, I don't see anyone reporting this bug: The mod itself works, but it breaks glasses and the Short Sighted trait. I tried starting a game with no other mods than this one, and when I check my foraging distance, it still has the -1.5 range debuff even if I have the glasses on with nothing else.

First, I added it to a started, modded game, so I thought it must be a conflict. Then I started a new game, with no mods, and the glasses correctly removed the -1.5 debuff. Then I started a new game with Only this mod enabled, and the -1.5 debuff on range was there again. Could you look into it?

Maybe the mod makes glasses not recognized az actual glasses anymore? (I used the simple glasses, not the reading glasses or aviators or any of those.)

nice, works like a charm. wonder if it's possible to give the welding mask it's own slow but make it hidden so people can keep it on while still wearing whatever cosmetic they want. hell you could probably even just hide the visual of the mask so you never have to take it off.
