Myopia & Hyperopia traits with Functioning Glasses [b41+]

Description
Features

Having already created a mod to play as a blind character, I thought it would be fun to play characters with less extreme sight impairment. Last update brought us two types of glasses on character creation so I decided it was time for a mod to play as a myopic or hyperopic character. Your glasses will allow you to have normal eyesight so hold on to it!

Myopic people tend to have issues looking at things that are far from them. It is the opposite for Hyperopic people. I decided to simulate that by making everything blurry beyound two squares for myopic / blur the whole screen of Hyperopic when zooming in.

As a Myopic Character you:
  • Benefit from +2 points from the Myopic trait
  • Need Myopia Glasses (Base.Glasses_Normal) equipped to see properly
  • Vision blurred beyond two squares without glasses.
  • Cannot read books nor forage without glasses on.

As a Hyperopic Character you:
  • Benefit from +2 points from the Hyperopic trait
  • Need Hyperopia Glasses (Base.Glasses_Reading) equipped to see properly
  • Without glasses, the more you zoom-in the more your vision gets blurred.
  • Cannot read books nor forage without glasses on.

Do not forget to pick the right glasses on the "Customize Character" screen on character creation! Or willingly pass on selecting your starting glasses to play with an extra challenge, finding glasses that match your eyesight.

Glasses can break:
When you fall from running into a tree or a fence, or when you are hit by a zombie, your glasses may fall. When falling, glasses take damage and have high chances to break. Broken glasses can't be used to counter the traits malus anymore! You can find spare glasses on other zombies or repair your owns. Note that dropping your glasses to the ground directly from their equipped state may also risk damaging them (unequip them before placing them into the world).

Upcoming plans

For next releases I want to do what I did not have the time to implement:
  • Damage glasses that fell from zombies
  • Contact lenses if it is not too anachronistic
  • Expand corection system to other types of glasses
  • (Optional) Management of fogging of the glasses through wetness + dry glasses actions

Extra
Many thanks to co` and MrBounty from TheIndieStone's Discord who have helped me find a way to detect that equipped glasses have fallen to the ground. I am also very grateful to Arean for making a video about this mod!

is posible to add a patch to reduce the chance or the damage of droping the glasses to compensate the usage the tripping mod (its playable but a bit to extreme)
Wait, so myopic characters (those who can see fine up close but not far away) CAN'T read or forage without glasses? Do you see how this doesn't make sense?

"Benefit from +2 points from the Myopic trait" for just 2 points its not worth it at all, it should gives at least 6 or idk, its very hard to play that way sometimes (specially at the beginning)

I'm suffering from this error, I don't know if it could be your mod or someone else in my pack. The strange thing is that it only happens to me, and it doesn't happen to my friends. When I leave the server and re-enter my character, my character gets sick as if he had been bitten and it dies, I already uninstalled the game and reinstalled it, I restarted the server and reinstalled it and the same thing happens to me, I don't know if it's a bug or what I'm doing wrong, the strangest thing is that I host the server from another PC but with myself Steam account, I shouldn't have a problem being me, am I supposed to? If you can help me, thank you, it's ruining my ability to enjoy and enjoy a great game.

here I explain more about my case

I have pretty bad Myopia IRL but I can still read. I mistakenly began my run without selecting glasses on my character creation >_< but I've scrounged around probably about 30 houses and not found any. Figured someone would have left them on the bathroom sink, or bedside table, or even in their wardrobe (I keep my oldies/spares in my closet). But I've committed now to the playthrough and just to continue suffering in hopes to find some :( Just stinks to be "illiterate" and unable to forage.:Dave_duff:

With this mod enabled, there's no sound from any of the TV channels. With the TV's volume set to maximum, I heard nothing. When I disabled the mod, it was normal again.

i think the best trait for myopia is that trait from the more trait mod that makes you find less items

been searching and havent seen a "missing an eye" trait, would be intresting to see.
