Charles Lindbergh is a celebrity sure, but also very, very young.
I would recommend adding General Patton. He was popular, the image of a cowboy. High ranking officer. Awards from WW1. He put down the Bonus Army, but respected their plight and did not agree with how MacArthur handled it.
He is also basically part of the American "Aristocracy", so it makes a great deal of sense.
And if you want a little touch from Kaiserreich, making George Van Horn Moseley does make a touch of sense too.
Also, Fascist US should probably still retain the original name. Or give us a choice to keep it. But the most likely thing is for the name of the country to remain the same.
