Fictional Edit - SWA Renewal / CRB

The Infamous Ewan Jacobs took the world of Mixed Martial Arts by storm, as much by his force of personality and unpredictable antics as by his hand speed and precision timed knockout punches.

Jacobs came from a humble working class background in his home of Dublin, Ireland. A motormouth from an early age, Jacobs's parents enrolled him in karate classes to help him defend himself in the conflicts he often started. Fortunately for the young Ewan, and unfortunately for everyone around him, he naturally took to his lessons, and became even more of a terror. As he grew older, Jacobs decided to shift to boxing, and from there, to mixed martial arts.

A natural self-promoter, Jacobs would quickly earn his "Infamous" moniker from his crass, violent antics at weigh-ins and press conferences, unable or unwilling to keep the conflict to the cage. His oversized cult of personality only grew in the process, with an excessively enthusiastic fanbase following him to each fight. This would carry on until Jacobs made it to the Global Fighting Championship, where he earned the Middleweight title in only three fights.

Jacobs became as much a media celebrity as a champion in the GFC, routinely challenging athletes from other sports and partying around the world with more interest than he showed in defending his title. This circus would come to a head as Jacobs ambushed pro wrestler Blade Saeba at a press conference for 5W Wrestling, sucker punching a seated Saeba from behind and going off on an unhinged rant. Saeba would return the favor by going into the GFC and eventually unseated Jacobs as champion.

Since then, Jacobs decided to leave the GFC, after the promotion finally suspended him for his behavior, and even followed his foe Saeba into pro wrestling, signing with the SWA's shoot style Prestige division.
