A guide for modding Tale of Two Wastelands

Step One

Make sure you have LEGAL copies of both FO3 and FONV. If you don't you're SOL. These are 10+ year old games so if you're actually looking at this guide without them, why?

As well you must have clean installs of both games.

Step Two

Now that you have legal copies of both games with clean installs, now its time to install TTW.

To do this go to https://taleoftwowastelands.com/download_ttw and download the installer, fairly simple.

After doing so make sure to install TTW outside of the FNV data directory. I recommend doing it outside of your c-drive altogether but if its your only one, so be it.

The process will take about 1-10 hours depending on many variables. But it pretty much sums up to how strong your computer is. If you install without OGG Reencoding the process is much faster.

For modding TTW I also recommend using Mod Organizer, you can download it here https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/6194

MO2 will automatically detect Tale of Two Wastelands so do not worry!
As long as you have your MO2 linked to your nexus account the modding process should be straight forward

Step Three

Time to start modding!
Now, just as a reminder there are mods that conflict with TTW. You can find all the incompatible mods here https://taleoftwowastelands.com/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=6989

As long as you have prior knowledge to modding this shouldn't be too difficult. Just remember to use a good load order and not install 200+ mods unless your computer is NASA tier.
