By the sounds of it, you might be better off using the save editor from nexus, if that's all you want
Best guess is i'm a hoarder. I have alot of mechs stacked up in cold storage so I guess it's struggling to do whatever the heck it's doing to them in terms of taking it upon itself to radically re-equip everything.
I don't need my mechs radically re-equipped. I just want a reliable way to get a few specific Mechs I want instead of being over a hundred hours in and I still can't get 90% of the mechs I want to spawn anywhere. I read this mod had a console and was happy. Then I saw the extreme degree to which it radically changes the game and a peice of my soul died. I just want a reliable way to spawn a few specific mechs.
I can't find any mods that do it. And this one doesn't work. And i'm not sure everything else it does is even worth it.
@BadWizard, that should be in the Operations tab. If it's not there, make sure it's enabled (hit escape, YAML Game Settings, and check if it is). Otherwise, probably something overwriting what YAML needs to make that happen, check the mod conflicts in the mod menu on YAML.
@Fatal Error coop bug? If you mean the clients getting stuck loading, that's not really a bug in the mod, more Steam Workshop - it often doesn't update everyone when a workshop item gets updated, so you'll find coop games with mismatched mod versions. Easiest fix for this is to get all the players in your game to unsubscribe from the mod, then resub, to ensure it downloads the new version. Because this version definitely works in coop, as I've been playing it!
