The game needs a rising threat from 1. Germania 2. Scythians(Horse nomads) 3. Improved Parthians who arent Macedon or Hellenic and actuallly beats the the Greeks more often. 4. A stauncher and more stubborn Nubia/Ethiopia region.
Why? Well if you play Rome, then all this is super fun flavor late game, and if AI is Rome, well ou need some later dynamics to pressure Rome AI.
Also, if you play some other kingdom or whatever these challanges will also keep you on your toes.
Oh and number 5. Southern India needs to be better at stopping the Mauryans.
