Description
I finally managed to find the time and finish a map that I’ve started on over a year ago. Welcome to the city of Melk, Austria, famous for its Baroque Abbey. The area also marks the beginning of Wachau Cultural Landscape, a World Heritage Site, which extends further downstream along the Danube and is known for its excellent wines and apricots.

The map is not intended as a 1:1 recreation. I’ve made some changes to improve gameplay possibilities. If you are from that area and think I’ve done injustice to your beautiful home, please accept my sincere “is mir wurscht”.

Please make sure to subscribe to everything in the map collection.

Suitable area for building: 62%
Ground resources are mainly used for painting, but can be harvested at some spots.
Trees: ~570,000. Unlimited Trees Mod will be needed! (Sorry, I can never contain myself. But they are mainly low poly trees)
All connections available.
However, as already for my other Austrian map, this is an inland river-map. Tankers and cruise ships are not supposed to be here and would look very weird. I also did not adjust any bridges for such ships! Therefore, my same hint as for Bruck:

River shipping:

Please use Advanced Vehicle Options to block large ships from spawning and use river ships like for example these:
River Ship by SwissCH
Small River Container Ship by LeeTowers
or others from the workshop.

If you don‘t want to use shipping at all, you can either disable all ships from spawning with AVO or load the map in the editor and delete the ship path.

I have tried to recreate the Melk hydroelectric power plant. It generates about 300 MW, which I think is enough considering it's free energy. You'll have to connect to it yourself though.

Screenshots were made with:
Relight and its LUTs:
Brightness: 0.55

Theme Mixer 2:
Base Theme: Alps Dolomite
Fertility R0.0008, G0.0025, B-0.0009
Forest: R0.0009, G-0.001, B0

Tree LOD Fix
Tree Movement Control

I hope you enjoy the map and please rate up if you like it!

Thanks to Bringer of Fire for the invention of the "tulip"!

Beautiful map with nice watercourses and remarkable good FPS. So far I could´t find any single spot with FPS less than 30, most areas around 40, very good work! Noticed that you have get rid of the heavily discussed picnic tables ;).
Um deine sehr schöne Arbeit zu würdigen werde ich daher meinem neues Dorf, das ich dort baue, den Namen "Ismirwurscht" geben ;).

@Ventru thank you! I must have missed that mod. I updated my description and dependencies. However, for map subscribers it should not matter which of the two mods they use anyway, regardless which one I've used or listed here.

Can you change the listing from old Unlimited Trees Mod to new version https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2378914031?

The new one fixes issue with long save times.

@Sam Klein in my opinion the European buildings are the "normal" ones ;-) One way, if you want to switch to international buildings is to use the Environment Changer mod and change the environment to anything else than European when loading the map (while keeping the map theme).

@Rev don't worry. Content creators are already used to the downvote-fairy on the workshop. I take uncommented downvotes as a compliment, knowing I created something that was worth clicking on.

This boi needs some melk! Sorry bad joke, but the screenshots look so wonderful! I love the use of trees and the faux agriculture areas, I can tell a lot of time and attention to detail was put in. Good job!
