Vanilla Weapons Expanded - Non-Lethal has been a commonly requested weapon set. So many times prison breaks result in accidental deaths. So many times, an enemy raider is your colonist’s father and you accidentally put a sniper rifle round through his skull. So many times your berserk pawn starts to fight with your melee expert with archotech arms, resulting in, well, death.

Thanks to this mod, you will now have numerous ways of dispatching crowds and taking down single targets - you can use tear gas to blind groups of opponents, tasers to stun single targets, and dart guns to bring down even the hardest foes in a matter of seconds.

Vanilla Weapons Expanded is part of a series of mods expanding on everyday life on the Rimworld. When paired together with a brand new Vanilla Apparel Expanded and Vanilla Armours Expanded, you can bring something to your game that will keep you interested in it for days.

@Whiskey if u have CE and CE armory then u can fill shotgun turrets with beanbags. i think theres another mod called "prisoners should fear turrets" that allows turrets to shoot at prisoners and slaves

are batons supposed to cause muscle spasms? i had a pawn go on a mental break so i sent my hussar to stun him, but he ended up killing him with blunt damage

Possibility of creating a non-lethal turret that is in the spirit of of the rubber bullet pistol? Would be nice to plop some down in prisons to get the party started while your pawns make their way over to "educate".

Any chance Baton attacks can be hardcoded to be selected during melee? My Talon-handed pawn slaughtered a prisoner with cuts instead of using the Baton.

Seems to work fine on baseliners though! I assume it’s because the talon attack does more damage than the baton?

no crafting quality for batons? just wondering if it was intentional or if its a bug in my end
@nayko93 having the taser inflict pain might make sense but could become a very powerful weapon for raids imagine downing raiders without inflicting any sort of damage i guess their intention was to hold the prisoner in place while ur melee pawn punches them till their down.
