Hello Folks,

for today I present you a much needed and requested type of supermarket, which fits in perfectly with my other "Plattenbau" assets.
This particular building is part of a series of standardized GDR-supermarkets with varying sizes. I plan to recreate some of the other sizes in the future.


Naming scheme:

The two included buildings have been named after original blueprints I found.
This supermarket has been planned and built in Halle, hence the first three letters "HAL".
"ESK" describes the construction method used. The building is essentially made of metal pillars with concrete panels inbetween them.
"1000-1200" specifies the number of residents one supermarket of this type can cater. The number is multiplied by 10.
"Edeka/Konsum" describes which supermarket chain the building belongs to, Konsum representing the GDR-era, Edeka the post GDR-era.

In-game:

I realized this building with the original supply ramp on one side, which is 1 meter below the ground. So to make use of it, you have to do some moving around with roads and fences.
The whole building is surrounded with 1 meter of basement and stairs, so it can accommodate small terrain height differences.

The buildings can be found under their names, starting with "HAL ESK 1000-1200" or alternatively by searching for "Plattenbau".
Their lot sizes and tris counts can be seen in the image above.
Both supermarkets have color mapping for the pillars and part of the ring around the roof. Both are RICO only, each with 80 high commercial working spaces.
This asset shares its main texture file amongst each other, so using the Loading Screen Mod to cut down on file size is advised.
The main texture file is also shared with my Plattenbau ESK 400-600 supermarket.

This error still occurs with both supermarkets. I'd love to see this bug fixed as this asset pack is one of my favorites! Keep up the good work otherwise!

Thanks a lot for the report!
Although I'm not sure what causes this bug, I tried changing the milestone at which the building is unlocked, since the error message seems to hint at that. I really hope this fixes it, if not I'm pretty much clueless.

Probably some mod compatibility issues, the extended error reporting shows me this:

Glad you're enjoing my work! The Punkthochhaus is on my to-do list, I already have the blueprints ready. Though I have lots of stuff I wanna do first, most recently "GDR-trams". So no promises on when I get to doing that building.

In the background, on the image above, there is a "Punkthochhaus". Very special for the Halle setting. Wonder if u have one asset in ur collection. Didn't find one. Thx 4 all ur work. Really enjoy it <3

Does not work for me. All other buildings from you work just fine. But this makes an error message trap. If i click "supress" then nothing will work in game. Find it won't work etc. Unsubbed and it will work again.

Those blocks are really successful, could you make some block / blocks from Košice Slovakia? For example: Košice [www.google.sk]
I work on the map of Košice and they would be very useful for me there, as well as yours ..
