This collection is a sub-set of designs from the ISL Shipyard, including all the (not decommissioned, or soon to be decommisioned) small grid, ground vehicles and trailers.


Each design is printable using one large grid piston and some welders, set up as shown in this Example Printer. However, some designs will require additional assembly after printing, which is has been limited to one block per sub-grid, for simplicity.

All cases are listed in the workshop page descriptions, but some include; an extra hinge head on the front of the "tow hitch" of each trailer, the drills on the Marten RO-520 excavators and four of the solar panels on the medium Solar Recharge Trailer.


All toolbars controls in these vehicles are the same from the remote control as they are from the cockpit/control seat, and toolbar layouts are standardized throughout all designs (for example, the handbrake will always be toolbar 1, button 9), except where specialized controls are required (for example, the drill controls on the excavators).


Some vehicles, and all trailers, are equipped with a "tow hitch" mounted on the rear (a vertical hinge part), which is designed to attach to the complementary tow hitch set up on the front of every trailer (a horizontal hinge, with a vertical hinge head attached).
This allows for each vehicle listed below to attach and tow one or more trailers, which have been stable during testing, within a reasonable speed limit.

The hinge head mounted on the front of each trailer must be placed in the orientation shown in the screenshot of the workshop page of each, otherwise the trailer may flip upside down when attaching to a truck.

Each hinge used as part of the tow hitch set up has had its limits set to -35 and 35 to prevent jack knifing.


The tow hitch system used in ISL designs is compatible with those used by Valkyrja - Maintenance & Engineering and Argonaut Industries, including the following vehicles and trailers:

Gekko Scout Buggy - The smallest ISL land vehicle, uses a rotor connection as its only means of recharging its batteries

Callina RV-35 Attack Buggy - armed and slightly larger than the Gekko, but too small for a connector, this buggy is equipped with a hydrogen system as its only means of refueling.

Akuri RO-31a Scout Rover - Battery powered, short range rover armed with a gatling turret.

Akuri RO-62b Scout Rover - The unarmed version, swapping the turret for an extra connector.

Agouti RO-31a Scout Rover - the next iteration of the Akuri, with a hydrogen system. Armed with a gatling turret.

Agouti RO-62b Scout Rover - the unarmed version, swapping the turret for an extra connector.

Skink RV-70 LAV - Armed with two hinge mounted gatling guns and equipped with hydrogen a hydrogen system, but still only 2 connectors for cargo space. The skink is the only open cockpit vehicle to use 5x5 wheels.

Serval RO-153 LAV - a more stable LAV, with a closed cockpit, cargo space, thrusters for stability and the DAS script for better handling.

Vicuna RO-31 Prospector - a stable platform for carrying a large grid ore detector on a small grid chassis, made somewhat obsolete by the ore detector trailer, which does not require a dedicated vehicle.


Iktis RO-100a Light Truck - Equipped with battery power, a hydrogen system and an enclosed cockpit, the Ikits series has limited cargo space, and relies on the trailers it can attach and tow to extend its utility, although its lack of thrusters means it struggles to pull the medium cargo and survival trailers with full cargo. This variant also has a top mounted gatling turret.

Iktis RO-130b Light Truck - swaps the gatling turret for an additional connector.

Ratel RO-780 Excavator - An older design in the excavator mining vehicle series. Although it has more cargo space than the Marten, it relies on manipulating wheel suspension strengths to change drill elevation, and is less stable to drive than its successor.

Marten RO-520 Excavator - Uses two hinge mounted drills to mine ore and clear ground, and although cargo space is more limited than its predecessor, this also means it is smaller and more nimble, relaying on detachable trailers for extra cargo space.

Lakan RC-630a Medium Truck - a much bulkier truck than the Iktis, with all the features of the lighter truck, in addition to 2 medium cargo containers, and thrusters (hydrogen and atmospheric) for towing heavy trailers uphill. The Lakan is both powerful and stable with a comfortable top speed of 240km/h on relatively flat terrain, although this is not recommended when attached to one or more trailers. This version also has a top mounted galting turret.

Lakan RC700b Medium Truck - swaps the gatling turret for an additional connector.


Hydrogen Storage Trailer - a large hydrogen tank with a generator

Light Cargo Trailer - 1 medium container and a connector

Gatling Turret Trailer - a gatling turret with just over a day of battery power, equipped with Whip's turret based radar script.

Missile Turret Trailer - a missile turret with just under a day of battery power, reloaded via the underside connector and equipped with Whip's turret based radar script.

Ore Detector Trailer - a method for carrying a large grid ore detector on a small grid chassis, without requiring a dedicated vehicle like the Vicuna Prospector.

Solar Recharge Trailer - a single solar panel and large battery for some extra power input and storage.

Survival Kit Trailer - a battery powered survival kit with rear connector.

Medium Cargo Trailer - 5 medium containers and 2 connectors (rear & underside) of cargo space, as well as a stone ejection system, hydrogen system and 2 large batteries. recommended for used with the Lakan.

Medium Hydrogen Storage Trailer - more than double the storage of the original hydrogen trailer, with 2 large and 4 small tanks, an engine and a generator, enabling it to not only produce and store hydrogen, but also function as a power source.

Medium Solar Recharge Trailer - Equipped with 5 solar panels (4 deployable) and 6 large batteries, the medium trailer has much greater power storage and input than the light version, but works better when stationary and deployed.

Medium Survival Trailer - a refit of the medium cargo trailer, with only 3 medium containers. However it swaps out the containers for a survival kit, and the passenger seat for a (conveyored) cryo chamber. The stone ejection system has also been switched to eject gravel.
