The Free Republic of Liberland[liberland.org] is an European self-proclaimed micronation on the banks of Danube. It was declared in 2015 on a small unclaimed territory between Croatia and Serbia, aiming for a free society based on a free market.

On this Cities: Skylines map, a detailed model of the real territory, you can simulate how this micronation would develop, perhaps into the Singapore of Europe?

The map has two versions, with a highway bridge over Danube which helps you to start with the city from scratch, and a more realistic version without the bridge.

The starting tile is at the isthmus of the peninsula, which, along with the sandy island downstream, forms the actual territory of Liberland. Its geographical name is Gornja Siga. To the west, across the narrow river arm, there is the Croatian territory, while the Vojvodina region of Serbia is found on the other side of the broad main Danube stream. Most of the map is formed by riparian forests with beaches, meadows and marshes, filled by frequent floods. Further from the river, there are fields, settlements and even small hills.

The map theme is Realistic V1.4.5 European. You also need the Network Extensions 2 and the Unlimited Trees Mod with the scale set to 4 (default), as there are almost 850 000 trees in the riparian forests.

For realism I recommend to download the river ships by Lee Towers and use the Advanced Vehicle Options so that you don't have ocean cruisers on the Danube river.
